  • Everyone is aware that if BQ would have not sucked ass so hard, no one would be glad he is riding on the pine right? Oh, and DA got booed by us superfans when he got injured.

  • DA may be able to go 500 over the next 12 games.

    Then we will be stuck with just another below average QB. If he does any worse then we will still have a quagmire at the QB position.

    Even though losses SUCK and there is no such thing as moral victories; it sure was nice to have SOMETHING to freakin cheer like:

    1) Good QBing from DA with the exception of the 1 INT (but that's singular).

    2) Great starting RB performance from Harrison except for the 1 fumble that was returned 71 yards for a TD.

    3) 2 blocked kicks

    4) Overcoming a 14-0 deficit with game day adjustments, leadership and effort.

    5) A #2 WR emerges in MoMass with about 140 yards receiving on a day our #1 WR completely evaporated following 2 drops. Not only that - this precise route runner was SEEN by the QB at least 9 times.

    6) How many times did Josh Cribbs hand our offense the football on the Cincy side of the 50? That's invaluable.

    7) The oline provided solid protection and created some nice holes for Harrison.

    Human nature says one doesn't like to say "I hope I'm wrong" BUT I sincerely hope I've been as wrong about Dumb Ass as I have been about Quinn all along. Who says 2 wrongs don't make a right? If DA can show me progress or put us in a position to win like he did this last weekend - that's got me tuned in for at least 60 minutes.

    Aside from the QB, it was nice to see young players like Harrison, MoMass, Adams, Cribbs, Thomas, Mack, Pool, And Wimbley (he got another sack) showing me some things we have to look forward to. Has Brodney Pool ever had a better day than you saw on Sunday? I was finally satisfied with Jackson for the first time this season. This has to be a confidence booster that this team can feed off of.

  • I am a bait-taker, sure, but in this case I'm pretty sure Zombo is a "a win where we suck is still total awesomeness...who cares if we have no future!!!" type of dude. If he wasn't, he wouldn't waste THIS MUCH time defending DA. Unless he's mentally ill.

    The other explanation is entertainment. You know, manipulation? (Stan: "Z, watch this." chuckle chuckle)
