If you like physical humor this Cleveland Browns football team is for you. It's not roller-skating monkeys and clown cars but it's pretty damn close.
In Sunday's blow-out, 31-3 loss to the Packers the Browns gave you, for your viewing pleasure, multiple center-quarterback exchange fumbles, basic old fumbles, interceptions, hilarious chase scenes involving Eric Wright, Brodney Pool and Packers receiver Donald Driver, failed replay challenges, a short field goal attempt clanging off the upright (loudly) before careening through for three points, and countless other ‘Three Stooges' type moments.

Anderson/Quinn are having a competition to see who can play worse. Put the third stringer in. You think the coach is "stupid" for not playing Quinn?!? The Savage plan was Trent Doofus, Charlie Frye on Deck, DA in the hole and Quinn in the draft. I've heard alot of "fire the OC" chants during this time and "the oline sucks" complaints.

The truth is as ive said before even payton manning or tom brady would look like shit QBing for this team...perhaps we would score a bit more often and maybe their passer rating might be a bit higher due to sheer determination but not enough to change destiny...dabolls offense is basic and easily dealt with...its not DAs bag or BQs bag...trent edwards would be comfortable in it however..
The real losers here are us the fans and the massacred prestige of the browns once glorious history we all fought so hard to keep...as every division lead or bragging point we had has slipped away in the hands of the lerners..

Quinn played a couple games last year. I say he had his shot its time to move on. Anderson had way to many shots. Its time for the 3rd string guy
Ryan Leaf got 21 starts to prove he sucked. Cade McNoun got 15 starts to prove he sucked- Akilli Smith got 17. We KNOW Anderson sucks. The season's shot- does it really matter anymore? So Quinn in your mind gets like 4,5 and you're certain he a bust? Quinn gets the rest of the season after the bye week to prove he ain't got it.

But here's the thing. Two coaching staffs have watched the kid practice every day and neither have been sold on him to the point where they had to have him on the field. Now Mangini is looking at paying the kid an $11 million escalator to prove what he thinks he already knows. Maybe Mangini's wrong. Maybe Romeo was wrong. Maybe the Dolphins and every other team needing a QB in waiting between the 3rd and 22nd spots were wrong.
But after the first two and a half games do you really think the outcome of any of these games would have been different with Quinn? Or that we'd even be able to tell whether Quinn is a franchise QB? The same drops would be amplified by the media. Did you see the rookies running open yesterday?? We'd be hearing about the need to get weapons around Quinn. We'd be hearing about how the OC doesn't know how to use his talent. All things mostly true considering both QBs, I think -- but things that get said when you have the more popular guy under center.
My guess is that Quinn gets his chance at least for the last 7 games. But the bet that $11 million under the cap can help a talent-starved team more than finding out what Mangini already thinks he knows about Quinn seems pretty reasonable to me.
BTW, what did McNown, Smith and Leaf prove with those extra starts?
Ask Cardinals fans whether the Leinert should have been given 9 more starts to prove he isn't Ryan Leaf.

Stupid statement. Shaun Smith/Ted Washington played NT and won 10 games. Should we bring him back over Shaun Rogers? Shaun Rogers continues to lose games, but we still run him out there every game. Why is that?

No but we had a selfish tightend who could catch but not block. we had a great vet reciver who never drops a pass (jj) a better oline a better group of dbs (sean jones and Leigh Bodden) Im just saying we had a much better team. And BTW I did love Chud. Not Romeo but I think Chud did a good job calling the plays back in 07

I'll say this- Quinn deserves more than 10 quarters of football to prove he sucks. Anderson has had 30 games- his total suckage is indisputable.
We aren't going to get jack for either qb in the offseason, so let Anderson get his ass handed to him by a POed Bears team that just got blown out by the Bengals.

I agree with almost everything you posted here. The lone subject I disagree with is Cribbs being your QB. He is way too important to your team to take that risk.

Ok, were you watching the games when BQ started, he NEVER had enough time to let the play develop. Mangini is one of the worst coaches I have ever seen, he gets canned in NY so sure, why don't we pick him up to have us suck to, he was constantly under the microscope in NY and now he is here, does anyone realize history repeats itself, and as for BQ V DA, look I'd rather have Quinn because he is probably ten times smarter on the field than Anderson, Anderson is a mediocre QB at best, and so far Quinn isnt much better, but at least he has the brains and potential to work things through.
