We have titles in 1920, 1922, 1923, 1924, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1954, 1955, 1964.
You see, Cleveland has so many football titles that karma said to stop gathering them until someone else caught up. And, as yet, NO ONE else has caught up! Green Bay is still one short, Chicago 2 short. When Pittsburgh gets even halfway, call us.

When the Celtics won their 9th straight there were 16 teams in the league, 14 in the AAFL when the Browns dominated. Is anyone saying "Well, the Celtics wore Chuck Taylor's then, and most shots were set shots, so it doesn't count". Hell no.

You guys with this garbage get so ridiculous.
You are desperate to claim your 8 Championships.
Where are the trophies for those games? Who did you play?
NUMBER ONE - The NFL Championship and the Super Bowl are NOT the same thing. Want proof--go to the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Colts, who in 1970 and 1969 respectively, won the NFL Championship and lost the Super Bowl. They do not represent the same thing.
NUMBER TWO - The NFL does not recognize the AAFC Championship Games. This is the league you compete in, you won only 4 of the league titles of the league you compete in. Winning the other championships against teams that saw 7 of the 10 teams immediately fold, and an 8th team shortly thereafter. Yet you try to legitimize that league as if it were quality competition.
NUMBER THREE - The NFL itself does not recognize the NFL Championship at the same level as it does the Super Bowl. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Championship_Game
After the 1970 AFL–NFL merger and the emergence of the Super Bowl, all NFL league championship games prior to merger are listed along with the NFC conference championship games in the NFL's official records.
NUMBER FOUR - Other factors--the NFL Championship was played with a rotating home field advantage. You didn't even need to EARN it, you simply got it similar to the way the World Series used to work, except it was the one game scenario on your home field. 3 of the Browns 4 NFL Championships were won on their own home field. There was no playoff....winning your conference was the same as winning your division today...a regular season title. The only exception was in the exception of a regular season tie--a one game playoff would occur. In order for the Browns to win their 4 NFL Titles, they had to win 5 post season games. By contrast, to win their 6 Super Bowls, the Steelers had to win 19 post season games.....a much greater challenge.
NUMBER FIVE - Your AAFC Championships were won against defunct teams. You are trying to make them as legit as the NFL. The NFL does not consider the USFL Champs or WFL Champs on equal footing as the NFL Champs, why would they the AAFC?
I have made these statements here before, but not one of you has been able to come back to them. All you say is, "oh, we got 8 Championships"

You are the one that has to spin a spider web around your dick to try to discredit history.
All we gotta do is count. Starting with ONE.
I can discount every single one of your alleged arguments. But, I don't need to.
Because, as a lawyer, I know the adage: "When the facts are against you, argue the law. When the law is against you, argue the facts. When the facts and the law are against you, pull shit out of your ass.
You see, I have the facts AND the law on my side. And what you have is shit out of your ass. No need for me to touch that.
-
If you really want tit for tat on those so called arguments, I can certainly give them. But I don't see any reason to.
The only one worthy of an explanation has to do with why the NFL doesn't wish to recognize the AAFC titles, and it comes down to one factor: The jealousy and resentment of one Mr. Bert Bell. NFL Commissioner at the time the AAFC and NFL merged, AND, the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The nefarious reason Bell gave for not wanting to recognize AAFC records is because, he claimed" some of the original game statistic sheets of AAFC games were not preserved". Yet, the Pro Football HOF, and the Elias Sports Burear, official statistician of the NFL each had/have access to the game stat sheets or copies thereof. Not a single punt, throw, or kick of the action of AAFC games in not capable of being traced.
The fact is, Bert Bell did not want to recognize the AAFC records because, as owner of two time defending NFL champs Philadelphia Eagles he could not bring himself to admit that the AAFC was at times the superior league with the superior teams. And when it was ultimately mandated that the Browns and a couple of other AAFC teams be merged into the NFL he sat with abhorrance and shame that in the very first game of the 1950 season that the defending AAFC champion Browns wiped the field up and down with his defending NFL champion Eagles. And THAT is why he made his petulant decree to not recognize AAFC statistics. He was a beaten, petty, yet still powerful individual. He couldn't have the better of the Browns and their AAFC legacy on the field, so he decided to attempt to have it with the stroke of his poison pen. And That's the history.
The HOF, the Sporting News (pre-eminent sporting publication at the time, and still very respected), Elias Sports Bureau, and every single other reputable sports reporting or statistical organization recognizes the AAFC. But now you know why the NFL doesn't. They don't want to tarnish Bert Bell.

Come on brother You are rolling the 1920`s at me ?? LOL... Sorry man . Apples and Oranges. Whatever it takes though , to motivate you. I understand whee your coming from , but its not the same.Is anyone saying that about the Celtics dynasty? When the Celtics won their 9th straight there were 16 teams in the league, 14 in the AAFL when the Browns dominated. Is anyone saying "Well, the Celtics wore Chuck Taylor's then, and most shots were set shots, so it doesn't count". Hell no.

The CLEVELAND BROWNS have 4 NFL Titles. Just because Tom Hanks painted a face on a Volleyball didn't make "Wilson" a Real Person !!! And just because you say PRO FOOTBALL TITLES Doesn't make Them NFL Titles ....Smart ass. I didn't ASK for YOU to do my research . I asked YOU how many NFL Titles the Browns had. The 4 they have is a nice Number.... And I respect the Browns History. But don't try to pawn off AAFC Titles and freaking titles in by OTHER Northeaster Ohio Teams as something Relevant as to how many NFL .... NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE Titles the Cleveland Browns have !!! Be proud of what your team did not some embellishment of it !! AAFC Titles nice but basically even by the Name of the Association they were CONFERENCE Titles.

Say, there are high school volleyball teams, too...

Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856–February 3, 1924)[1] was the 28th President of the United States. A leading intellectual of the Progressive Era, he served as President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910, and then as the Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. With Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft dividing the Republican Party vote, Wilson was elected President as a Democrat in 1912. To date he is the only President to hold a doctorate of philosophy (PhD) degree and the only President to serve in a political office in New Jersey before election to the Presidency.
In his first term, Wilson persuaded a Democratic Congress to pass the Federal Reserve Act,[2] Federal Trade Commission, the Clayton Antitrust Act, the Federal Farm Loan Act and America's first-ever federal progressive income tax in the Revenue Act of 1913. In a move that garnered a backlash from civil rights groups, and is still criticized today, Wilson allowed segregation in many federal agencies,[3][4] which involved firing black workers from numerous posts.[5]
Narrowly re-elected in 1916, Wilson's second term centered on World War I. He based his re-election campaign around the slogan "he kept us out of the war," but U.S. neutrality would be short-lived. When the German government proposed to Mexico in the Zimmermann Telegram a military alliance in a war against the U.S. (promising the return of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas), and began unrestricted submarine warfare, Wilson in April 1917 asked Congress to declare war. He focused on diplomacy and financial considerations, leaving the waging of the war primarily in the hands of the Army. On the home front, he began the United States' first effective draft in 1917, raised billions in war funding through Liberty Bonds, set up the War Industries Board, promoted labor union growth, supervised agriculture and food production through the Lever Act, took over control of the railroads, enacted the first federal drug prohibition, and suppressed anti-war movements. National women's suffrage was also achieved under Wilson's presidency.
In the late stages of the war, Wilson took personal control of negotiations with Germany, including the armistice. He issued his Fourteen Points, his view of a post-war world that could avoid another terrible conflict. He went to Paris in 1919 to create the League of Nations and shape the Treaty of Versailles, with special attention on creating new nations out of defunct empires. Largely for his efforts to form the League, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1919, during the bitter fight with the Republican-controlled Senate over the U.S. joining the League of Nations, Wilson collapsed with a debilitating stroke. He refused to compromise, effectively destroying any chance for ratification. The League of Nations was established anyway, but the United States never joined. Wilson's idealistic internationalism, now referred to as "Wilsonianism", which calls for the United States to enter the world arena to fight for democracy, has been a contentious position in American foreign policy, serving as a model for "idealists" to emulate and "realists" to reject ever since.

You are so weak, just turn your computer off next time you want to try to flex your muscles, you have none.

You see, I have the facts AND the law on my side. And what you have is shit out of your ass. No need for me to touch that
.A Lawyer and You are spouting this crap , now that makes sense. Professional SPIN ~Artist !!
