This is the first time in NFL history both teams put up such a pathetic performance but played such an exciting game.

Stop being a douche bag. This is the NFL. This is how the Steelers usually win. A 13-6 win with playing good defense. Don't be a douche bag.

The Browns put up a winning performance, but it was slightly less pathetic than the Steelers. How many false start penalties? How many bad passes? The Steelers played some good D and had a few big plays on O, just like the Browns. But if the two teams weren't playing eachother, both would have got a loss.

Both teams did good things, but overall both teams sucked. Quinn 9/16 is pathetic. Quinn 9/16 and gets a win is even more pathetic.

You're a f*cking douche bag. Your team sucked because a 1-11 team with one of the worst defenses in the league manhandled your bitch ass team and your offense. Did anyone see Whines Hard on Sportscenter? He was starting to cry like the fag bitch he is.

I was there, I was at the game, we won mother f*ckers! A bunch of belligerent Stooler fans getting arrested.

Don't down play this win you f*cking douche bag.

p.s. Both teams didn't do anything good? Your team lost to a 1-11 team. Stoolers suck.

I would love to look back in history and see when the last time a Superbowl Champion lost to a 1-11 team, bitch.

Silverback, even though you are a douche bag like Jeff Reed, I do give you props coming in here and taking your medicine.

UH, it's never happened before per NFL Network, and they're tied at all-time (5), for most consecutive losses by a SB winner. Hope they win a few, just to screw up their draft status.

    Steelers-

    lose Bengals

    lose Radurs

    Lose Cheifs

    Lose Browns.

Like I said douche bag, stop justifying why you lost to a 1-11 team. So when the Steelers win ugly like in 2008, it was a good game with good defense. Your a f*ck.

    Week 2 - Win against Browns - 10 - 6

    Week 11 - Win against the Chargers - 11 - 10 (really?)

    Week 15 - Win against the Rat Birds - 13 - 9

You are clearly not used to winning. I never tried to justify why we lost, anyone who watched the geme knows why we lost, and anyone who actually reads what I have been saying knows I haven't made a single excuse. Surely the game was exciting. Everyone, including you, would agree. Everyoneone here, except you, are willing to admitt some aspects of the Browns performace were pathetic (same with the Steelers) and you wouldn't expect to win when you take into account those aspect. Quinn being 9/16 is nearly guarenteeing a Browns loss, especially against the Steelers. As we all know, the Browns won with BQ going 9/16 and no touchdowns.

Every other Browns fan on this board is grateful for their big, exciting win. You still want to name call to anyone who makes a statement you don't like. That's not something I'd expect from you. You think you are entitled to something more than you usually are just becuase the Browns won a game. I myself certianly never acted the way you are after a Steeler win or loss. I know how to keep composer after a win or loss. I haven't seen any Browns fans trying to justify rediculous behavior becuase they have been able to handle success and had no reason to try to justify stupid behavior. They have all done a good job and handling success. Then, theres you.....

You are right about BQ's performance not being stellar, but he did smart by not turning the ball over and leading the huddle - also let us factor in the freezing conditions: -10 degrees on the field. Plus this was a game the defenses dominated and ur defenses first half failure lead to your defeat.

If you would have kept my two questions in context it was very clear I was asking you those two questions as proof the Browns played an ugly game. Whether or not you are a DJ "Spin Master K" is a good nickname for you.

You might not like it but me pointing out obvious facts isn't whining. You want to insult and name call, but don't want anything (especially facts) coming back at you.

Look back to your first post on this thread. Take notice in it you accuse me of something YOUR own quote of me proves false. Also, take notice of the first person on this thread who said that 9/16 passing for Quinn was rather pathetic. (Hint: it wasn't me)

This islikely the happiest this boartd has ever been. There is no need for your to start trouble.

Any game in those conditions is likely to be an "ugly" game. Elswhere I documented how many "ugly" wins the Steelers have had against the Browns the last 8 or so years. The 10-6 or 16-13, or some such games. If you are willing to delete all of your "ugly" wins vs. our one "ugly" win you would be far on the downside.

Besides, this was a Browns/Steelers game. It is supposed to be "ugly", i.e. hard hitting, low scoring.

    Ya follow?

I'm not saying ugly games are bad games (especially if you win), and I prefer low scoring, hard hitting games over shootouts. The Steeler have won a lot of ugly games in recent history. This game was by far the ugliest I have ever seen, and I began saying that half way through the 4th quarter.

The Browns just won a xxxxing game against the Steelers lets not start this shit show name calling bullshit again! This isn't DA vs QUINN

  • To answer one of Kosars original questions, the defending champs getting beat by a 1-11 team has happened once or twice I think. They showed a stat on tv last night, only 4 times in history have the defending champs been beaten by a team 10 games under .500, and the last time it happened was in 1997.

I'm honored you brought my name up, but no. My position is still firm on Mangini (the win earned the right not to be called Mangina for a week). I'm still a firm believer that he has to go.

While the win was amazing it didn't save the season in the eyes of the fans as Josh Cribbs said. I mean it did to a point, we all love seeing the Steelers lose, and more so when it's to us. But they're still 2-12. When the season is over that's not a record ANY of us should say we are proud of.

That win was solely on the defense and Ryan. Offense had nothing to do with it. Daboll we can all agree is worthless. You some some of that terrible playcalling last night. Screens when we needed long yardage etc.. That's on Mangini too. Daboll can cal whatever he wants, Mangini has to approve it.

Mangini is to blame for a lot of our woes, and when the afterglow of our win last night wears off, we're still a 2 win team. He has the stigma of loser on him, and it won't go away until he does.

Wrong. Savage and Crispy Creme are to blame. Mangenious is turning this team around. Making them tough physically and mentally. Something Crennel couldn't do. Mangenious is our future.

So he's a genius because Brady Quinn had ~40 passer rating so he decided "I think I better just run the ball"? Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

The only offensive players I saw with toughness were Jennings Cribbs and the people who were blocking for them. That's it. The defense however was pumped. They played above and beyond what any of us would have expected. And that wasn't Mangini, that was Ryan.

Those players were pumped because, like they said, they knew how much this one particular win meant to the city of Cleveland. The players already had their own motivation for this one, Mangini didn't provide it.

We're just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one, because I love the win but 2-12 is still just not acceptable to me at the end of the day.
