OK, the following may be a lame attempt by me to create conversation and to mix passion for football with passion for music and to get you all to play along. What I want you to do is to name who you think should be the "Official Band of a particular NFL team.

An obvious easy example would be say: Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles (or as The Dude calls them: the F***ing Eagles)

You can use any criteria you want for your choice. It doesn't have to be a Rock n' Roll band. I suspect The Saints could be the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Whatever you want. I gave a couple of NFC examples, but lets start with the AFC:

    Cleveland Browns:

    Cincinnatti Bengals:

    Pittsburgh Steelers:

    Baltimore Ravens:

    New England Patriots:

    New York Jets:

    Miami Dolphins:

    Buffalo Bills:

    Indianapolis Colts:

    Jacksonville Jaguars:

    Tennessee Titans

    Houston Texans

    Kansas City Chiefs

    Denver Broncos

    Oakland Raiders

    San Diego Chargers

    Dallas Cowboys

    Detroit Lions

    Chicago Bears

    Green Bay Packers

    Minnesota Vikings

    Atlanta Falcons

    Carolina Panthers

    New Orleans Saints

    Tampa Bay Bucs

    Arizona Cardinals

    St. Louis Rams

    Seattle Seahawks

I will put in just a few of my own to start with off the top of my head:

Cleveland Browns: The Pretenders. In RRHOF. Led by an Akron girl. (plus, the Browns sometimes play like they are pretending to be an NFL franchise)

    Cincinnatti Bengals:

    Pittsburgh Steelers:

    Baltimore Ravens:

    New England Patriots:

New York Jets: The Ramones? They're from NY, aren't they?

    Miami Dolphins:

    Buffalo Bills:

    Indianapolis Colts:

    Jacksonville Jaguars:

    Tennessee Titans

Houston Texans Archie Bell and the Drells?

Kansas City Chiefs Wilbert Harrison (guy who sang Kansas City)

    Denver Broncos

    Oakland Raiders...Paul Revere and....

    San Diego Chargers

  • Now go with NFC:

    New York Giants

    Philadelphia Eagles

    Washington Redskins

    Dallas Cowboys

    Detroit Lions

    Chicago Bears

    Atlanta Falcons

    Carolina Panthers

    New Orleans Saints

    Tampa Bay Bucs

    Arizona Cardinals

    St. Louis Rams

Cleveland Browns: nine inch nails (a band that actually rocks) or ian hunter

Cincinnatti Bengals: outlaws or josie and the pussycats (the movie was 'ggggrrreeaaattt! 🙄 )

    Pittsburgh Steelers: redneck zombies

    Baltimore Ravens: poe

    New England Patriots: boston

New York Jets: the ramones (they're from queens)

Miami Dolphins: gloria estefan and the miami sound machine (latino fag music)

Buffalo Bills: goo goo dolls (gay, but from buffallo)

Indianapolis Colts: reo speedwagon (?) their early stuff was alright

    Jacksonville Jaguars: molly hatchet

    Tennessee Titans: arrested development

    Houston Texans: zz top

    Kansas City Chiefs:

    Denver Broncos:

Oakland Raiders: snoop & dr. dre (the chronic is the shit!)

    San Diego Chargers

i know all of my answers weren't 'rock bands' but man, this was tough.

I guess the official rock band of Chicago should be Chicago. (though I don't know if the Bears would accept that)

More likely Utah, but I was just thinking of the fact that it refers to riding a horse. A Bronco is a horse, you know?
