    Time to shitcan Miranda anyway.

But this is a pretty good example of "boys will be boys" V the end of democracy as we know it depending on who holds powere huh?

  • If this was GWB the liberals would be crying for his head. But since it's good old Obammy, no big deal. Just like with the oil disaster in the Gulf. Finally, after 1 month there is criticism coming from the left and right. And Obama goes to San Francisco for a fund raiser. Can you picture if this was Bush? Shows that the left doesn't care whats right, just as long as a Democrat/Liberal is in power. 🙄

We are seeing one cover up after the other for all of Obammys crap. We should of never allowed Steve Urkel to be president.

  • Steve, I don't get it. You don't like that the people police arrest are reminded of the rights they have under the Constitution? Or do you not like the Constitution affords them those rights at all?

  • I happened to watch a (very little) bit of Hannity last night - he isn't a favorite of mine - and he and the (very frightening) Dick Morris were talking about "High Crimes and Misdemenors" and a scandal of epic proportions.

If one were to look up a picture of "Politics" it would be a montage about this kind of stuff.

    No big deal, IMHO.

  • Well, get used to it. They won't drop this one anytime soon, no matter how ridiculous. And if they take back the House, this is all we'll be doing.

  • And John, I would agree. In an industry with a fair amount of scummy people, I can't think of a single bigger scumbag than Dick Morris, either personally or professionally.

I take your word for it.

He 'scares' me just LOOKING at him.

Just for the record, I feel the same way about James Carville.

Full-time Halloween characters always in costume - masks even a mother couldn't love.

Not too many other people do that to me.

  • Carville doesn't hire prostitutes so he can suck on their toes. Let that image bounce around in your head next time you see Dick lying on television for money.

Though the image of Carville and Matalin doing it doesn't sit much better.

    Actually I like Carville.

I don't often agree with him but he's crude and blunt and that's kinda refreshing.

Plus it's a riot when the Dems, who ge furious anytime anybody dare make a statement about some accepted sexual deviance, have a hissy fit when it's a blasphemer like Morris.

    Close but no cigar?

This should have it's own thread.

But you're close on both even though you put in the Heck absolute to argue against in the future.

No I don't think the constitution is the arbiter of right and wrong.

No I don't think one should have a right to not incriminate himself.

If you did not commit the crime you cannot incriminate yourself.

Unfortunately the legal system is a game and not a path toward justice.
