We're going to the Playoffs

just worry about having a winning season first.
or hey, maybe 2 in the same decade.
actually, never mind about the 2 in the same decade........no point setting unobtainable goals for your team.

That being said I believe the browns could at best go 8-8 maybe 9-7. We have made improvements on paper and have to see how they work out on the field. I believe Delhomme will have a better season and will not be asked to do as much due to the strength that our running game should have. If Rogers is fully recovered then our D-line will be fantastic. Rogers was always more suited to go after the QB rather than play the traditional nose tackle role in a 3-4. This was evidenced on how good RUbin was against the run last year. I believe our D will be top 15 this year it is our offense I am worried about.

Undying loyalty, enthusiasm and optimism for our team even in the face of a long string of poor performances is what makes Browns fans the greatest fans in the NFL.

unlike stooler fans who will be gone in two years because the stoolers are going down down down. Why are the stoolers going down? Because it's important not to cheat too many years in a row. If you do it too long it will become so obvious that action will have to be taken. The NFL doesn't want Congress to start an investigation on the Stooler cheating. They will suck for about ten years before they resume their cheating ways.

I was referring more to others I have seen post on this board. I usually observe and am a member on other sites. Honestly though the first few games without your qb may be tough. I havent looked at the steelers first four games but a bad start can really put that team in a whole. Especially with that O-line in the shape it is

They signed Flozell Adams from Dallas to replace Willie Colon. Everyone said their line sucked last year but it didnt look like it when they were winning. You mean the line that allowed Ben to be sacked 50 times? OR how about that stellar running game they had for most of the season? I just don't see Adams at his age being enough. I think if Mendenhall can stay healthy though they will be in it for the division.

The shape of our o-line has been overblown for several years now. I made 200 dollars when we won the Bowl against the Cards. A friend of mine from college and a diehard Browns fan refused to believe the offensive line was good enough to get to the Playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. Max Starks really came in to his own last season at LT and will only be better this year. Kemo is a HARD CHARGING ROAD GRADER that routinely blows up LB's second level and he'll also be improved. The center position is still up in the air with Hartwig or Pouncey but early reports have Pouncey possibly starting at RG. Flozell will hold down the RT and while he struggled last season and the season before that with pass protection he was still STELLAR against the run and at RT he'll be asked to run block. If Flozell pans out the offensive line could be punishing and we'll never have to hear the offensive line is a weakness again. Hell i figured it would dwindle after the Super Bowl run but it still makes it's rounds because it's the only real area on the roster open for occasional criticism. As far as the first 4 games are concerned I think we'll come out of that 2-2. We certainly won't lose all 4.

When hasn't Ben been sacked a bunch? It's his style of play, not the offensive line. As far as the run game is concerned blame that on Bruce Arians and his elimination of the FB. He also obviously prefers to throw over run but the Rooney's put a stake in that game plan and want the offense to get back to the run. Add in a FB, plus the drafting of Pouncey and the addition of Adams who is fantastic on the run. Mendenhall goes for over 1500 yards and double digit TD's. The o-line talk will stop after this year.
