If a player of this mindset played for the Browns, he would be a hero in Cleveland! We like guys that will take a QBs head off clean like rogers not cheap shots like suh took..
Its the stooler fans that like dirty football but you would already know that...

LOL - keep on making an ass out of yourself, buddy - it is quite amusing.

Alright, come on. A damn good QB? Based on what? The last time he did anything was YEARS ago. Carolina won't regret letting him go. Yes I'm a Steeler fan but if he were a Packer, Patriot, Jet whatever I'd say the same thing. He's past being "damn good" well past. Classy guy though, I'll absolutely give you that much.

Suh's gonna learn what goes around, comes around. Like chop & crackback blocks. He's a smart kid- once he starts getting fined, he'll learn to tone down his act.
And times have changed- if anyone pulled the Turkey Jones head spike done on Bradshaw today, they'd get suspended 4 games minimum, plus a max fine.

Classy guy though, I'll absolutely give you that much.I'm not going to go out and say Jake's the greatest. And yes, I'm going to mention preseason. He has been great this preseason:
38/48 (79.2% completion) and a 110.5 qb rating.
He has also been passing the ball around to our less than stellar WR's. He has been able to throw to 10 different receivers in a half.
Granted yes, preseason, but if the trend continues I think he'll be a "damn good" qb this season. But all I'm hoping for is him to be a good one (minus the damn).
AND... I would not be happy if we had a d lineman who plays dirty. That's the exact kind of thing we're trying to get away from, STUPID penalties. We already have a bad enough D and turn the ball over enough. We don't need to be giving up 15 yards for free.
AND... I'm pissed that our O line didn't back Jake up. I saw no one stand beside Jake after that.

In other words, I essentially agree with you. The Browns could use a guy like him. Nevertheless, if a player commits a cheap shot like this and causes the team harm with a penalty...and a possible suspension (though I doubt that would happen) he has to be called on it. The calling consists of "keep the attitude, just do things within the bounds of the rules so that the team doesn't get hurt"

And I would bet that he has heard that message loud and clear.......from his teammates, coaches, and from the public.Yes, he probably did. The simple point being that he was out of bounds with his actions. That is all we are saying. Do you disagree with that?

I dont think the kid should be suspended. a teams defense should have a midset like he said...its not like the kid hurt jake out there so theres no need for him to sit out some games. i tell u what i wish our d had some head hunters like that...maybe then we would get some more respect around the league and teams fear us instead of laughing at us

There is one thing I know about the NFL. Players do not take kindly to trying to end someone's career. Hey..clean hits is part of the game but what Suh did was out of line.. Thats someone career and life your f**king with. I'm sure some of his team mates especially the vets told him.. Not cool...Unprofessional by Suh..He's young and will learn..Mangini says he was a good kid.

They should Fine Suh Big time and Throw some More stuff at Him Stupid Rookie Move Last Saturday

I don't think he should be suspended either but I do think a fine is in order.
Also, there's a difference between having a "headhunter" mindset and trying to really rip the guys head off. Delhomme wasn't hurt but that doesn't negate the fact that Suh could have easily hurt him or ended his career with that bullshit move. I like the intensity but you don't twist someone's head around then throw him to the ground.

Im gunna have to say i LOVE heavy contact football, I LOVE big hits. but damn!, that was just uncalled for.

exactly! i think all of us browns fans love a rough and tough d, but not to the point where it's counter productive. there's no excuse for what suh did and his actions shouldn't be praised. this rookie has to learn to play within the the nfl's rules. his intentions were right, but his excecution was wrong. dude looked like he had freaking roid rage lol.

This is not the first time Suh has played the bully role. Those of you who saw the way he tackled McCoy in the Texas - Nebraska game last fall might remember what I am talking about. When I saw how he took down Delhomme down, I just thought, "I've seen this before."
For all the stuff that has been said about this incident, I was watching the NFL netwoerk tonight and saw the play again. I had not previously realized that the throw down came AFTER bpth of Delhomme's knees were on the ground. He actually threw Delhomme to the ground when Jake was in a kneeling position, having already been tackled by Suh.
Having seen the real extent of Suh's actions, I have how moved from being uneasy about Suh's actions to whatever has been done by the league is a mere pittance of what should have been done.

If Suh's action was out of bounds there are 100 actions every NFL Sunday that are out of bounds. You girls need to get your panties out of your hoo hoo!
If there are so many that are this similar, then name some. If that's the case, isn't there headlines like the Suh/Delhomme incident all the time?
You talk like you're the man and know everything. Your smug attitude is lame and you aren't entitled to anything. But please, continue to post the panties phrase over and over. It's very original.

So you mean let's all wait until he HURTS someone before trying to show him defense doesn't mean "de-head"!
