That all depends on what you consider "perversion" to be. As I said, you can look at the bible and take it literally that oral sex is a sin, or a perversion. Or that sex for any reason other than procreation is a perversion or sin. In God's eyes, all sin is equally bad.
So you can pick and choose which areas of the bible you want to quote in an attempt to tell others how to live their life which is blasphemy, or you can use it correctly; for guidance for the proper way to live your own life and not worry so much about what other people do that have no effect on you.

are trying to force it into our collective American faces.

The libs want gay marriage, marriage to tree stumps, etc, illegal drugs legalized ... "doesn't hurt anybody else"...
but they are strong advocates for unlimited abortions of the unborn, and the murder of unwanted born children.
I say what I believe about the hideous travesty of abortions, and I get enraged libs starting personal attacks.
But if they want to do away with churches and God, and genuine marriage between a man and a woman, why, you
had better not disagree with them or the personal attacks come out....

Hey, I agree with legalizing mary jane, as long as there is a real, long-term study that says it does not affect reproductive health. I don't buy any the BS that legalization proponents spew out about how great it is, how it's non-addictive, and saved their dog's best friends master's wife's sister. Some real, unbiased studies need to be done.
Just think of the taxes the Gov't could collect by regulating it rather than banning it.

My rule of thumb is that you should be allowed your right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, if and only if it does not infringe on others' rights to the same thing. Gay marriage does not infringe on any of that.

Abortion is a separate topic, but where we disagree is the point at which an embryo becomes a human. It's not murder in my eyes, and let's face it, if it were made illegal, we'd be back to the days where butchers and doctors would have backdoor abortion businesses.
