  • ok let me bring down the rant a notch. i don't hate tebow. i don't hate religion. i despise the stupidity of man. for every person that's willing to stand on a soap box and sell something there's always some dolt who'll buy.

    our beliefs in this country and the morals instilled in us as children will always define us throughout our lives. hey learning right from wrong is a good thing. following some moron because he preaches some belief is just plain DUMB. and parents that brainwash their children into some tight space of belief with no room for open mindedness is a crime.

    I dislike him for the same reasons, but what's the point in wishing him to fail? He's here, he has a following, and us wishing it were different isn't doing anything. At this point, all we can do is combat ignorance with education through logic and reason. America's youngest generations are becoming increasingly secular, and in spite of the Tea Party, I'd say that we're pretty quickly moving away from bible thumping. I bet we'll see an atheist/agnostic president before I expire (hell, I think Obama is secretly a non-believer, the lengths he's gone through to allow for the recognition of secular citizens is one of the few things I've liked about his presidency).
