The Browns Need ... Another Game Breaker Wr

little might grow into a good #2. blackmon might be the guy unless we decide to go corner #1 and trade down, other than that i'm not to keen on who's the second and third best available. i heard there's a kid from baylor and one from notre dame (any pick from notre dame scares me).

Btw for a Browns fan you seem to know absolutely nothing about the draft. That's weird since it's a Browns fan's postseason....

i care enough about it to check the lowdown a couple of weeks before it happens...maybe look at the mocks then. until then i just comment on shit spewed from bozos like you.
now go get my shine box skippy.

Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Malcom Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
I haven't seen much of Wright but I saw Floyd in person and have seen him on TV a lot, he's a beast. Not Blackmon beast, but still very good.
I think Little could make a great tandem with a top level WR. Whether that be in the draft or through free agency. He has a chance to be a good #1, but I'd rather get another top WR in there too.

Same to you man. It's Michael Floyd.

We need to finda way to draft... Luck, Kalil, Blackmon, Richardson, Mercilious, Claiborn, Burfict and Minnifield. That's only 8 picks... start moving up now and giving away picks from the next 3 DRAFTS!! LOL I'm only slightly kidding, cause really that's ALL we need... With those players listed above I'd say we'd be in the Conference Championships next season and the Superbowl the following year!
I know won't get all of the players above but I think we should try to get as many of them this year as we can... Even if we got Blackmon and Richardson our offense would be much improved. I think we could actually get both Blackmon and Richardson if we stay at 4 take Blackmon and then trade back up to get Richardson.

My bad, last time I trust universaldraft.com
Regardless of me messing up the first name (there being a WR that IS a Malcom Floyd) I think if we picked him up on the second we would be pretty happy with him.

Getting both of those would be great, but could be too costly. I really don't see the Browns trading up, but who REALLY knows?

Ya if Blackmon somehow falls to the Browns at 4, why not trade our other first rounder, second, and maybe a second next year to get Richardson. We'd then have 2 bonafide studs at positions that wouldn't need any look for 5-6 years atleast.
-
The Browns could also try trading for the rights to Richardson if a team chooses him because of best available and not biggest need. Say if the Chiefs or Bucaneers would choose him. They might be willing to part with him to acquire extra picks that they could put toward bigger needs.

There is no point in doing the above when there are plenty of other solid running backs in the draft. I would be surprised if Heckert uses a 1st round pick on a running back. I think we will take one in the 2nd or 3rd round..

DeSean Jackson, Victor Cruz, Calvin Johnson, and Mike Wallace are game changers. Little may become a game changer, but he wasn't one this year.

History shows that the 2nd season is often the coming out party! I really think the Browns will pick a GOOD WR in this years 1st round. Weapons on O = greatest need! I think the D is pretty good and getting better!
-
The techniques that were demonstrated in this video are those of the "possession" receiver. The flat out "burner" speed was not demonstrated here.
Michael Irvin was not a "burner".
Though the Browns need a burner, they need a Michael Irvin type as well....and Little is our guy for that.

Actually for most receivers it's the 3rd year when they come into their own.

There hasn't been as much of a "sure thing" in a running back prospect in Trent Richardson since Adrian Peterson. If you bust on a top tier prospect it's better than if you take a shot on a lower rated player hoping they can be just as good. AKA Montario Hardesty, big difference between a second round pick and a 1st.

Took the words right off my keyboard

Richardson is just a beast. He's fast and he hasn't had an injure plagued past. I mean, there are certain reasons that make Richardson appealing to us Browns Fans. I think that we all fell in love with Peyton Hillis... Well, imagine what Peyton brought us last year, except Richardson is poised to bring that for us every game for a long time to come. Can Hillis be the back he was last year for us again? I hope so but who knows if he'll even be here in June. I think IDEALLY what you would want is to score an Arian Foster but that's like playing the lottery. So I would suggest signing Hillis to a 3rd down back/FB sub with Marecic role with an incentive laden contract... percentage of games available, rushing at least 800 yards in a season, catching so many passes or going for x amount of touchdowns. Then with Richardson, Hillis, Jackson and Hardesty...with Armond Smith on PS waiting for Jackson and Hardesty to go down...
Obi did okay but he wasn't a factor in any of the games. I think he's serviceable at best but clearly no feature back. We need a DOMINANT feature back in Cleveland. If Hillis isn't the guy then it has to be Richardson. We need a sturdy stallion to tote the rock. There isn't 1 single reliable runningback on our roster. I love Hillis but his lack of production or ability to get to the field last year really raised a lot of questions and showed us what a mess RB is in if Hillis goes down.
Without a monster RB the Defenses don't have to make the hard decisions, they can tee off on Colt which in turn makes his job of making us respectable much, much harder.
Though I would love to go so many different routes with the number 4... WR, CB, RB, DE, LB, OT we only have 1 pick at four and will have to pick our poison. Luckily we have another pick at 22 and that really helps, I just wish we had one more inside the top 15. I think we should at least consider moving some picks to get that 3rd first rounder. WR, RB, CB would definitely put us up over the top in terms of our overall moves last year and to see the dividends pay out for us this year. Imagine a game changing wide receiver, and dominating running back and a shutdown corner... all in the first day. Mel Kipers head would really explode...

We would basically have to forfeit our draft next year to get a third first round pick this year
