I'm actually looking at yhe schedule now to see what home game I want to go to. What's a decent middle of the road place to crash for the weekend?
Where are some cool places to eat in town and to site see?
Well, don't make a commitment to a game yet- wait to see what game the Brits (Howie & G-Man) will be in town. It will be reunion weekend, with Board members flying or driving in from all over the country (and other countries). I believe there will be a special bash then.
As to cool places- the Rock & Roll HOF is next to the stadium, the Pro Football HOF is an hour drive down the road in Canton, as to neat places to eat- depends on your preferences and budget.

Kidding. Although as an outsider around these parts you should know the Browns have been referred to as a "Factory of Sadness" prepare for the heartache. All the in fighting here is a direct result of the aforementioned factory.

No problem. Stan puts up out of town guests for $10 a night. He'll cook you burgers the night before and his wife Kathy will get up at 4am on Sunday to make sure you wake to fresh baked blueberry muffins and biscuits with butter and assorted homemade jams.

No problem. Stan puts up out of town guests for $10 a night. He'll cook you burgers the night before and his wife Kathy will get up at 4am on Sunday to make sure you wake to fresh baked blueberry muffins and biscuits with butter and assorted homemade jams.

The opener should be a party of special magnificence. However, Shep has never been, and I've been working on Cal for years to show up if he can get off the tractor and get down to the Tailgate. Roach along with Don will be the Tailgate Meisters as usual- but rumor has it they're heading into semi- retirement after this bash.
Mark-O is coming in, I believe 'Peen is making the trip, Zombo will make a serious effort to be in attendance, and I'll be there with the nephews. If we can get Rich and Ghoolie in town besides, it will be one big plus. That's not counting the cast of the usual suspects.

Shoot man. I always make the opener and plan on it this year unless I have some health catastrophe. I plan on every home game except the December games. I am getting like some of the others. I don't need to fight that weather unless we are playoff bound.

That's cool. It has to be a grind.
It would be just as fun to sit with those guys at some pub, or just do a potluck and eat whatever people brought. I have a full stove outfit I brought up for several years, and I make a mean Italian Beef in the crockpot I could cook in the room on Saturday evening as I slept. I can only cook up 2-3 lbs at a time, so I wouldn't be able to feed masses like those guys do/did, but if a few of us chipped in we could still take care of the out of towners.
Heck, just cater in a Subway platter works for me. I just like the place and the people. I think about you guys and gals all the time.
Larry, you'd like Don's Pomeroy House. You'll have to eat there. On one of these trips we'll have to meet up for a meal there as we planned last year, just as we did at Melt....that was a good day. For me anyway. I am still trying to walk off the bacon I had on my "Melt".
