40 Of The Most Powerful Photographs Ever Take

[DieHardBrownsFan]

Nice.

[Westside Steve]

Nice.

[MLD Woody]

Those were pretty cool

I'm gonna have to be a party pooper though and say there was a definitely recent and American bias.

I mean, these are supposed to be the 40 most powerful photos taken, ever! Where's that one Nat Geo chick, or the pictures of that volcano right before it killed the photographer, or that monk that set himself on fire?

... Yes Cal, I'm an anti American, socialist, communist, fascist, libtard terrorist...

[calfoxwc]

Wow. All but two are awesome.

A couple were just no impact at all - just controversial - didn't fit.

Pictures from all over the world - nice find, Kosar !

[MLD Woody]

Just wondering, what two didn't you like?

I believe #15 was staged with the aid of photoshop or comparable tool.

Fake. Never happened. Doesn't the couple look staged when you think about it.

While I don't think it was staged, I just don't see a couple of them being more powerful than these 2 from ww2

[Kosar_For_President]

I don't think the couple was fake, staged maybe, not fake. I think it says something, the whole make love not war argeument.

Pictures have the ability to stir many different emotions.....for everyone. Nice collection.

[sadbrownsfan]

After a little thought, some others that could have been added.

Berlin Wall being knocked down

2005 tsunami pic

Vietnam

[Chicopee John]

For the record:

I deleted a number of posts under this thread. All pertained to my post that one of the pictures was fake, staged, or whatever.

I believe the posts I deleted - and more than a couple were mine - served no purpose other than to detract from an, otherwise, excellent and evolving series of pictures.

Great stuff!

Burning monk

back up off me

this counts, right?

[DieHardBrownsFan]

Obviously everyone has different opinions on what pictures are the most important. Mine are.

[VaporTrail]

Woody, you just had to ruin a good thing.
