  • And, just an f y I, that was indeed common place amongst the theater community.

Which is probably the biggest reason my views on that subject are as liberal as they are.

But just an aside: have you noticed across the board tendency here to insult each other by suggesting that one's opponent is gay?

One thing is for sure...woodys not spending his college free-time banging any chicks. Not with the amount he posts here...

  • If I was his age, at Ann Arbor, I damn sure wouldn't be in here, LMAO.

Like your college career was any different? Didn't you say you're an engineer, too?

  • Cuz 1) its totally not the summer

    2) I totally don't have a smart phone

    3) and I never post at work or in lectures

Yeah but I've got an attractive wife my problems are solved. I will say that my college days weren't my most productive.

Go to any big time engineering school and you'll be lucky to see a female. Combined that with the fact you will be doing HW, studying, labs, etc. all day and you're fucked

  • I don't call people stupid that disagree with me. I call people that are stupid stupid.

5 years is to Sophomore year, not 9th grade

Parents don't have to have their kids take this class.

And again, you never answered my question. I'll ask for you to do it again, but I don't think you will.

You can call me ignorant if you want, it's fine. I know I'm not. You really don't have any weight in anything you say, except farming. Stupid Little Jonnie Woodpecker

    ****************************************************************************

No, you call people "stupid" when they disagree with you. Otherwise, you would refer to yourself as stupid. Got it?

And, you are stupid. I never said 5 years anything in my last post. You are a dimwit. Go back and read my post. I referred to the 5th GRADE, not years.

I even referred to the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades before a kid is a sophomore. That's three. You're stupid.

I did accidently leave out the "th" in 5th.

Parents wouldn't have let their kids go to the class - but the principal went into a discussion THAT WAS

NOT IN THE MATERIALS. How stupid ARE you?

Your question is stupid. You have to know the audience - and even then - I wouldn't have discussed that stuff to fifth graders.

That means the kids are in the FIFTH GRADE. No, you just FEEL that you aren't stupid. But, you don't THINK.

That means you are more likely to be stupid. In your case, stupid is, as stupid little johnnie woodpecker posts.

BTW, I could have taught any other person on this forum how to be a corporate programmer/business analyst. Except you.

Even Heck could do it. He wouldn't probly, put in the work. But you? You don't know diddley, and you are nit-piddley.

... and only a few posts back

"2. If I had been the principal? I I wouldn't have had the class in the first place in that manner. There are many ways

to talk about the birds and the bees without giving kids a preview of what they should know about 5 years down the line."

    5th grade + 5 years = 10th grade

Parents wouldn't have let their kids go to the class - but the principal went into a discussion THAT WAS

So, still no answer to my question, huh? You're teaching a sex ed class, 5th grader asks you about BJs and anal, what do you do?

... and Cal, I'm not stupid. I go to one of the best schools in the world, a top engineering school and top 3 or 5 for my major. I'm on the Dean's List and rocking a good internship. You can call me dumb all you want, but its not gonna work.

Good point. We have 10% females in the ME dept. Throw out the really fucking weird ones and you are down to like 3% lol

  • The last post, Little Johnnie Woodpecker.

No, you are stupid. You have no common sense, no sense of self. You don't know about life - and

you haven't grown up - not even enough to know what you believe in. You just DON'T believe in anything.

So, it makes you feel really elite.

Being in college, in engineering - that is an accomplishment. But it is only an accomplishment. Having a family

and your own business is a far more long term responsibility. You can always go and work as a janitor at Cedar Point.

But having your own business and a family? and a farm and a home? That is serious stuff - it takes genuine adults to do that.

Anybody, even stupid people, who have an affinity for math, and mech drawing, can go into mech engineering.

The real "Rainman" could graduate probly in two years. He would probably be your tutor and life coach his first day as a freshman.......Bragging like your are Einstein and putting others down because they aren't in your classes? Stupid, Little Johnnie Woodpecker. And nobody else, outside of you, on this forum, is dumb enough to pull that one,

So, there ya go. That's you. Stupid. And, hopelessly arrogant.. Bad combination, Little Johnnie Woodpecker.

  • it gets more pitiful -

and more prevalent. The leftist perverts have been obamao encouraged to come out of the woodwork,

and to be as perverted as they want to be.

How's THAT for a pitiful, but true, reflection on Obamao ?

  • Then there is the Florida teacher

who led some students in an occult get rid of demons ritual.

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/demonic-fl-educator-arrested-after-bizarre-burning-cutting-ritual-to-rid-teens-of-evil-spirits/

Maybe... did Little Johnnie Woodpecker go to this school?

Or... was he one of those evil spirits.... @@

anyways, the nutjobs are out of control -

I wonder.... if Obamao ever was involved with the occult?😒

  • Cal, the libs on this board wont talk about the truth unless they can add in a little more feelings. Just read some of their replies and you know they are against anything that is morally right.

  • So, yeah. I'm done

You refuse to answer my question and anything I say is wrong and stupid because I am younger than you.

    Peace.

It's funny/sad how this fact escapes them. Everyone is FEELING but them. They believe that they have a monopoly on the truth.

    ***********************************

Really? You're wrong, so you quit ? LOL !

Morals are the principles we base our proper societal actions on. Emotions are what we feel. Emotions CAN commonly be associated with morals/principles -

but they are not one and the same. You could be proud to be a virgin. Or, ashamed to be a virgin. Or, you simply adhere to the principle of virginity

when you grow up, but that neither of those emotions would apply to a younger person. Pride is an emotion - most of us are proud of our beliefs -

except for libs - who don't believe in anything, and guys like Little Johnnie Woodpecker who isn't old enough to know life enough to believe in principles.

The point is, automatically using emotions instead of logical, critical and principled thinking results in FLAWED DECSION making.. Emotions can get you into trouble - and if emotions ruled,

society would suffer, and none of us would be safe from anybody. With principles as the guiding light for societal behavior - we are good.

Except for those who end up driven by emotions. Different things. Often associated together, in one manner or another, but not the same.

Ah, but don't take it just from me: I have Albert Einstein on my side. That means I win. Thanks for letting me play the game ! (do I get a trophy or what?)

    *******************************

As far as I can see, there is one consideration which stands at the threshold of all moral teaching. If men as individuals surrender to the call of their elementary instincts, avoiding pain and seeking satisfaction only for their own selves, the result for them all taken together must be a state of insecurity, of fear, and of promiscuous misery. If, besides that, they use their intelligence from an individualist, i.e., a selfish standpoint, building up their life on the illusion of a happy unattached existence, things will be hardly better. In comparison with the other elementary instincts and impulses, the emotions of love, of pity and of friendship are too weak and too cramped to lead to a tolerable state of human society.

The solution of this problem, when freely considered, is simple enough, and it seems also to echo from the teachings of the wise men of the past always in the same strain: All men should let their conduct be guided by the same principles; and those principles should be such, that by following them there should accrue to all as great a measure as possible of security, satisfaction, and as small a measure as possible of suffering. ALBERT EINSTEIN

and two relevent definitions I went and found:

    2. A concisely expressed precept or general truth; a maxim.

    3. morals Rules or habits of conduct, especially of sexual conduct, with reference to standards of right and wrong: a person of loose morals; a decline in the public morals.

  • No, btw, you LEARN right and wrong. How you feel about it, or how you don't, is another matter entirely.

Society has a right to establish principles to protect itself - so do people.

It's the libs who emote instead of adhere to principles that are the problem. So, emotions <> principles.

    Let's make up an example.

    Hmm.

Okay, suppose you are in a little boat, stranded at sea. You are very, very dehydrated, so you want water.

But, there isn't any fresh water to drink, and you get angry, and decide to quell your anger by drinking salt water from the ocean.

That decision is emotional, and DEFIES critical thinking. And, defies the principle of only drinking safe water.

IOW's, a principle is a truth of proper behavior - the adherence to, constructive behavior.

An emotional decision is all too often a destructive behavior.

I just won the game. And the debate. And I feel freakin good about it ! (but our conservative principles are to make decisons smartly. Not emotionally, like LIBS DO.)😎

  • It's funny/sad how this fact escapes them Vapor

    *****************

    gotcha. LOL

It's funny/sad how you emotionally jumped onto the wagon that just went over the cliff. 😁
