Peace.

Cal, the libs on this board wont talk about the truth unless they can add in a little more feelings. Just read some of their replies and you know they are against anything that is morally right.

The concept of morals are feelings. You feel something is "right" or "wrong". Thanks for playing, we'll see you next time.

It's funny/sad how this fact escapes them. Everyone is FEELING but them. They believe that they have a monopoly on the truth.

Really? You're wrong, so you quit ? LOL !
Morals are the principles we base our proper societal actions on. Emotions are what we feel. Emotions CAN commonly be associated with morals/principles -
but they are not one and the same. You could be proud to be a virgin. Or, ashamed to be a virgin. Or, you simply adhere to the principle of virginity
when you grow up, but that neither of those emotions would apply to a younger person. Pride is an emotion - most of us are proud of our beliefs -
except for libs - who don't believe in anything, and guys like Little Johnnie Woodpecker who isn't old enough to know life enough to believe in principles.
The point is, automatically using emotions instead of logical, critical and principled thinking results in FLAWED DECSION making.. Emotions can get you into trouble - and if emotions ruled,
society would suffer, and none of us would be safe from anybody. With principles as the guiding light for societal behavior - we are good.
Except for those who end up driven by emotions. Different things. Often associated together, in one manner or another, but not the same.
Ah, but don't take it just from me: I have Albert Einstein on my side. That means I win. Thanks for letting me play the game ! (do I get a trophy or what?)
*******************************
As far as I can see, there is one consideration which stands at the threshold of all moral teaching. If men as individuals surrender to the call of their elementary instincts, avoiding pain and seeking satisfaction only for their own selves, the result for them all taken together must be a state of insecurity, of fear, and of promiscuous misery. If, besides that, they use their intelligence from an individualist, i.e., a selfish standpoint, building up their life on the illusion of a happy unattached existence, things will be hardly better. In comparison with the other elementary instincts and impulses, the emotions of love, of pity and of friendship are too weak and too cramped to lead to a tolerable state of human society.
The solution of this problem, when freely considered, is simple enough, and it seems also to echo from the teachings of the wise men of the past always in the same strain: All men should let their conduct be guided by the same principles; and those principles should be such, that by following them there should accrue to all as great a measure as possible of security, satisfaction, and as small a measure as possible of suffering. ALBERT EINSTEIN
and two relevent definitions I went and found:
2. A concisely expressed precept or general truth; a maxim.
3. morals Rules or habits of conduct, especially of sexual conduct, with reference to standards of right and wrong: a person of loose morals; a decline in the public morals.
-
No, btw, you LEARN right and wrong. How you feel about it, or how you don't, is another matter entirely.
Society has a right to establish principles to protect itself - so do people.
It's the libs who emote instead of adhere to principles that are the problem. So, emotions <> principles.
Let's make up an example.
Hmm.
Okay, suppose you are in a little boat, stranded at sea. You are very, very dehydrated, so you want water.
But, there isn't any fresh water to drink, and you get angry, and decide to quell your anger by drinking salt water from the ocean.
That decision is emotional, and DEFIES critical thinking. And, defies the principle of only drinking safe water.
IOW's, a principle is a truth of proper behavior - the adherence to, constructive behavior.
An emotional decision is all too often a destructive behavior.
I just won the game. And the debate. And I feel freakin good about it ! (but our conservative principles are to make decisons smartly. Not emotionally, like LIBS DO.)

gotcha. LOL
It's funny/sad how you emotionally jumped onto the wagon that just went over the cliff.

Welcome to bizarro world, Population: Cal.

No you want to think you learn right from wrong but there's always a gray area. Stealing is wrong unless you need to feed your family. Murder is wrong until a black kid is beating your head into the pavement. No, I'm sorry, right and wrong is not so easily defined. You're foolish to think that. It's black and white thinking that is the domain of arrogant idiots.
Yes, blah blah blah I emote you think. Yadda Yadda Yadda Obama is scary and black. Ring-a-ding-a-ding dong you're a farmer. Hoopty damn doo doo. There I saved you the trouble of responding. Don't flatter yourself by assuming anything you might say from this point on is any more meaningful than that. You think you "kick peoples asses" on the internet when in reality you're just an annoying talking head that is easily ignored and often disregarded with a shrug, one raised eyebrow and then a complete lack of interest. Go ahead and say your ridiculous piece, then return to your basket weaving on the funny farm.
-
Well, duh, Cysko. You just aren't listening to the principles that were instilled by GOD, in the BIBLE.
-
Wrong again, you are.
I neve said anything about principles always being black and white. A principle is a guideline to adhere to for honorable reasons.
What you are actually talking about, is conflicting priinciples.
Not stealing vs feeding your family during a depression, perhaps, and you can take some apples from a nearby orchard on night, nobody knows, nobody gets hurt, they won't miss apples.
Or, snaring a squirrel in a farmer's woods..
That is balancing act. Defies the principle of honesty. But, it's a guideline for honorable, constructive living.
Getting defiant because the fix you are in, and getting angry and shooting somebody to take their money so you can buy food?
That's a self destructive emotionalist lib response. So, I have Einstein and you guys have emotionalist rationalizations.
I win.
To prove it further - I'll even give you this link:

lol
tl;dr
All that is wrong in the world can be blamed on libs.

this link's for you too....

The facts have not changed just because liberals want to teech kids filth. 11 and 12 year olds are not mature enough to understand the concepts of sex.
What is the purpose of these teachings?
We do have laws to protect children from sex offenders but when some fag comes along with a major in sex education we allow dumb people free reign over classroom curriculum designed to promote homosexuality.
12 year olds dude.

So who truly understands the concepts of sex? I was taught by Catholic nuns.
