Well you can have any opinion you want vapor. After all I'm the one that just washed and read books to a beautiful one year old child, and you're the smarmy douche who thinks printed information in some book is the end all and be all of life. I know what it took to bring a child into existence. I know when his life started, you have no idea about it.

    Not. One. Idea.

Like I said, I don't hold it against you. I was a black and white smarmy liberal know it all douche once too. One day you'll put down the games, meet a real girl and maybe even have a family. Some responsibility. Then you'll have some idea, outside of a book or other piece of media that someone else thought of for you.

It's called growing up. You have a lot of it to do.

    Nice fallout three meme.

So the you called him a liberal know it all douche and then turned around and acted like a I'm older than you so you know nothing at all douche...

You want to go on and on about how you know what it really takes to make a baby so you should be the authority. Well, the women actually are the ones that are pregnant for 9 months, it seems to me like they should get the final word. Not what politicians or the church want.

No one is pro abortion, that's why it is called pro choice. Obviously birth control is the best solution. You just actually have to teach sex ed and not abstinence only education.

Forgive me if I don't agree with some college kid (vapor in this case, who is generally an alright guy that I have no animosity towards) that abortion is great, and that its an acceptable means to control population. Abortion is not great nor is it acceptable in my view. Knowing what I know now (and don't humans love to say that) abortion is the worst crime. Teach the kids sex ed, fine, give out "morning after pills" like candy, why not? Even offer the dumbest among us money to be sterilized. I'm fine with that. Don't kill the baby because you failed miserably to have any responsibility at all. Once that heart is beating its alive. Would you just gas the orphans waiting to be adopted so they're not a drain on society anymore? Because abortion is the same concept. You're killing a child so it doesn't disrupt your life of irresponsible casual sex. I'd rather see state sponsored sterilization to legalized abortions any day, all day.

  • And I'm not saying I'm older than you so you know nothing. Just that you have no perspective on the lives of children. Trust me, please, that the idea of a child and having a child are two very different things. When you have one your perspective should be, and will be, much different.

Your hatred of religion to begin with, but I was actually more referring to vapor in this case.

I guess it's black and white where I stand. I'd be dumb to not admit there are positives about religion though. It brings some people hope, a feeling that there is someone watching after you, thinking there is something more. It also can create a sense of community and they can do charity work.

That's all great, but those things aren't exclusive to religious groups and I don't believe they outweigh the negatives.

I am firm in my believe that Michigan us my favorite football team. But I can still admit Yost was kind of a racist

I don't think abortion is great. And I don't think it is a good way to control the population. There are more reasons to have an abortion than just your own convenience though. But yeah, obviously never getting to that point is the best option

    Yes.

I told all this to T awhile back. There is a point where it obviously isn't a baby and there is a point where it obviously is wrong to have an abortion. I don't know the actual week mark, but you don't need one. No one needs 6 months to decide whether or not to keep a baby. I would think you could make that decision relatively quickly.

No its not. In about six to nine weeks the fetus's heart starts beating. This, in my opinion, is where a clump of cells begins to be a child.

There are medical reasons to have an abortion. It becomes a medical procedure called a D&C. No doctor calls a D&C an abortion. An abortion is a terrible thing.

Having the fire department put out a fire at their place of worship

    Why??

Face it, most abortions are performed because the woman doesn't want the kid for any number of reasons, health being the least likely.

Men can be as unprepared to be a parent for the same reasons.

You don't believe in equal rights??

Yes, I believe in equal rights. This isn't that though. I believe in equal rights where they apply and there are actual discrepancies.

Its not your pregnancy and it is not your body. You aren't suffering through all the symptoms for 9 months and you aren't the one possibly risking your life (rarely) at the end. Sure, you provided some DNA, and because of that you should have a say. But not as much as the female.

I wouldn't expect a female to have as much say as the man in regards to the guy getting a vasectomy either.

And in a different twist to the same statement- and one that refutes your claim to "leaving the female alone" in the decision to have the child.... is one that allows men to "walk away " from their responsibility to be fathers and

leave it up to the women, Dont you think that is the option that alot of guys take? is what we see rampant in the country today? And the end result is more abortion??? Think about it Woody... If the man says he will stay and take up his

responsibility for getting the woman pregnant, dont you think it should be His decision right as well? just sayin...

This is all kinds of wrong. If you're going to abort a child it had better be a joint decision. The man has rights too. Did your father have any say in raising you or did your mother have the last word because she carried you?
