Great news... get well after the Steelers play us.

Torn MCL, dislocated knee cap, and sprained PCL. No known damage to the ACL as of yet which is good, but that is still too much damage to the knee for him to realistically play this year. It actually doesn't say on NFL.com whether or not it is season ending or if he will be put on IR, but Jesus who really expects him to play with all of that.

I actually have a friend who had a terrible problem with constantly dislocating his knee cap during football. It literally will go anywhere but where is should be. I have seen it down on the upper shin, up on the quad, and all the way over on the right side of the knee.

                  That sounds brutal.

As Browns fans, be sure not to make light of this situation. While Steelers fans have been bragging and overrating their draft all offseason, karma can bite us right back. But on the other side every team experiences injuries (Taylor, Richardson, MoMass, Gocong) don't pity a team that loses one player (Decastro). In the past few years the worst injury they've had to deal with is Ben's sprained ankles (big deal).

Feel bad for the player...not the team. OL with early knee issues normally don't hang long.

I hate the Steelers more than anything, but I'd never wish a type of injury on anyone.

Gilbert, Colon, Pouncey, Foster, and Starks appear to be the starters for the 2012 year barring more injuries. Legursky, Essex and Adams are to be backups. Adams may have been a starter over Starks except he was injured in the 1st preseason game. DeCastro was an upgrade over Foster, and without him we probably won't have a top offensive line. However, Pittsburgh's line is still slightly improved over 2011 with Gilbert's experience and the return of Colon. The Steelers are not placing DeCastro on IR and expect DeCastro to return for the last month or so of the regular season. Personally, I think they should put DeCastro on IR.

However, Pittsburgh's line is still slightly improved over 2011 with Gilbert's experience and the return of Colon. The Steelers are not placing DeCastro on IR and expect DeCastro to return for the last month or so of the regular season. Personally, I think they should put DeCastro on IR.

I thought that most of yinzers were anxious to get rid of Colon, no? But, I guess without DeCastro Colon is probably better than having Jessica Alba out there....or maybe not. With Jessica the defensive line would surely be distracted from their duties.

And I do hear that Adams is not doing so well.

Our own rookie RT had a rough game vs. the Eagles, but has otherwise looked good.
