  • Feel bad for the player...not the team. OL with early knee issues normally don't hang long.

  • I hate the Steelers more than anything, but I'd never wish a type of injury on anyone.

  • Warning, gross as shit. Check out the first replay. Wow, up there with the Willis McGahee injury.

Yea I didn't even mention this Die Hard because this one is in it's own upper echelon of injuries.

  • when you dislocate a kneecap where does it go?

It does not seem that gruesome on video. Not like Theisman or McGehee. Nevertheless, gosh, that's too bad. Now they will have only Mike Adams to play this year out of their rookie class OLinemen. And I don't think he has replaced Max Starks there, has he?

Gilbert, Colon, Pouncey, Foster, and Starks appear to be the starters for the 2012 year barring more injuries. Legursky, Essex and Adams are to be backups. Adams may have been a starter over Starks except he was injured in the 1st preseason game. DeCastro was an upgrade over Foster, and without him we probably won't have a top offensive line. However, Pittsburgh's line is still slightly improved over 2011 with Gilbert's experience and the return of Colon. The Steelers are not placing DeCastro on IR and expect DeCastro to return for the last month or so of the regular season. Personally, I think they should put DeCastro on IR.

I thought that most of yinzers were anxious to get rid of Colon, no? But, I guess without DeCastro Colon is probably better than having Jessica Alba out there....or maybe not. With Jessica the defensive line would surely be distracted from their duties.

And I do hear that Adams is not doing so well.

Our own rookie RT had a rough game vs. the Eagles, but has otherwise looked good.

  • Colon is a decent spot starter....Gilbert got benched at LT last year, which was why starks came back...should be ok at RT though.

  • That was a horrible injury though, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, even a Steeler
