  • That is a great graphic you found there, to bad there are to many of those who want to live off of the government and dont give a shit so they will ignore it. These same people want the government to steal money from thise who are left to work and give it to the lazy asses.

  • Doesn't that number include those too young to work? And those that are retired? And don't we have a shit load of baby boomers? And what about comparisons to other times?

  • Woody read my thread on Cooking the Books and it may answer some of your questions.

  • I wonder what effect outsourcing would have on this graph? hmmmmmm???

Those numbers would be included whether it's 2012 or 1992.

    WSS

  • This is not a graph that tells you much of anything about employment because, as Woody notes, it's full of baby boomers who are now retiring in droves. It's a graph designed for people who don't know what it says so that they'll think it means something it doesn't.

    Mission accomplished, apparently.

In other words, you can easily show employment or job creation graphs, but they don't tell you the story that Republicans want to sell. They show a slowly improving economy and employment picture. So what do you do then? You show people a graph of changes to the labor force, which are largely demographic. Because that looks more like what you want it to look like.

  • The only good graphs are the ones that show what heckbunker wants them to show.

yeah, Biden is also an idiot like that.
