    Oh I don't doubt he's a Browns fan.

I mean it's apparent he loves misery.

    WSS

  • Oh, I argued Browns football and drafting in the other forum for a few years, but you guys are more interesting.

  • Oh so sage words from Eric Dondero.

The end of liberty in America: Only course of action now is to fight back, electoral politics not working

To do my part, I'm putting all the liberal fascists on ignore. You should do the same!

I would have to disown my Mother, younger Brother and Daughter. Can't do that. But I did express my displeasure.😠

Isn't that kind of childish? We lost so I am taking my ball and going home.

Call it childish, if you like. I think it's visionary.

Shouldn't you be ignoring me I voted for Obama?

Also the rules are broken. Clearly the only reason they lost

Thank you for informing me. I'm still trying to figure out who all the liberal fascists are. I'll ask Cal for a list of the rest.

NP. Glad to help out don't want you to actually try to talk to anybody with a different opinion.

  • I actually enjoy debating people of different political persuasions. But if you voted for Obamao, you're probably beyond redemption.

  • And yet you want to put all liberals and anyone who voted for Obama on ignore, over half of the country, and you also feel anyone who voted for Obama is likely beyond redemption. You might want to look more at your own political party and try to figure out why they decided to nominate a candidate so bad that he couldn't win an election against an incumbent that was sitting with 7.9% unemployment. This was a golden opportunity for republicans to retake the white house and make gains in the senate and house, yet they took losses in all 3 areas. Personally I think of myself as an independent and wanted to vote for the a republican candidate for the white house but when I saw the nominee's for the republican ticket there was no way....

  • I'm not a registered Republican, nor did I love Romney. As the always excellent Charles Krauthammer said on Fox, Governor Romney's a Northeastern liberal...but even that's far preferable to a liberal fascist.

And the reason the republican's will lose in 2016, is the feeling they lost b/c Romney was to "liberal"....

  • Bachman 2016

No Woody, you are right....it isn't.....it's because the country has changed. The way it goes.

Sooner or later people like me are going to take "our balls and go home", wherever the new home is, and ya'all are going to be left here. Good luck with that. Most people work for people who employ under 400 people. When they decide to cash in and quit, this country has a bigger problem than we have now.

What you don't get is we had the golden egg laying hen.....and we are giving it away. You think we have poor people now, give it 30 years....and sorry to say, you'll probably be one of them. I've got mine and have taken steps to stick enough other places out of country to make a go elsewhere if necessary.

I guess I just don't get why some people are so eager to see the USA fall.

I am all for equal opportunity. I am not for equal outcome, which is where we are headed.

  • No its not. No one is even suggesting it, or anything close to it. Stop listening to crazy people. Stop listening to Fox. (If that's not one of the lessons of this election, I don't know what is!

No one wants or is planning for a way to design equal outcomes. No one. You couldn't name one person who is, or find one statement from someone suggesting anything remotely like that. So really, you can stop freaking out about it.

You're scared of a phantom, my man. Look who is in Obama's cabinet. Watch who he appoints in the next few weeks. These aren't communists. They're business people, Wall Street people. That's who makes up his economic team.

Jesus. Climb down off the crazy train. Look around. You're wasting your time worrying about shit that's never going to happen.

tl;dr - People who don't think like me don't have balls and just want handouts. America is over.

That's not it at all Vap.....quit going back to that position. I clearly said the country is changing and that is the way it goes. Natural progression, though I don't know if it is progress.

No doubt i am a conservative, but Gays don't bother me and I really don't have a problem if they are granted marriage rights. Love is hard to find, so find it where you can. If it's a big Sin, God will straighten them out in the afterlife. It's not my job to judge them. Heck, I am good friends with several gay couples.

I don't have a real problem with abortion. I think it's wrong, make no mistake, as before, God will sort that out. The only thing I would want is equal rights for men. They should be able to abort their responsibility to being a parent as readily as a woman. If women can decide to not have a child, a man should as well. If she wants it and he doesn't, it should be all on her.

My take is the socialist attitude that is prevalent....equal outcome is more important than equal opportunity.

    It's not a system I would choose.

As I said, if that is the way it goes, I am slick as far as I am concerned. I bought a good amount of gold in the 80's....over 10 lbs of the stuff, and very little of it is under the mattress or in banks in this country. I put it all away elsewhere, so until it gets to the point "ze papers" don't allow you to travel abroad, I am good. I'll take my chances I am smart enough to know when to bolt before the borders are closed.

I am not a doom and gloomer because of President Obama. He is my President and I always refer to him as such. Respect is the word. I doubt you can scour these pages and ever see me say anything other than President Obama unless it is some commentary on something he did and didn't refer to him by name. To me it's disrespectful to call any President anything other than President so and so....I don't care if you hated them to the core.

Here is how I look at it and will put it in terms that makes sense to my simple mind and maybe make sense to others.

If you worked in a butcher shop and decided you needed some meat that night and didn't have the money and took a whole 30lb salami home, you can bet the butcher would notice that salami missing and hell would have to be paid. If you take it a few slices at a time, he never misses it. He might see it looks a inch short, and maybe wonders and says a few words, but mostly, it's gone without notice.

It's the same with our rights in this country. They are being stripped a little here and there. Those that complain are easily written off as crackpots...and then soon enough those that complain are sent away and those left have no rights and wonder what happened.

Seriously, embrace the future, but don't be so damn eager to give up what made this country what it is....or was.

It isn't a bad place to live, even for those at the bottom of the totem pole......you don't see USA citizens at the bottom level flocking in to Mexico or Jamaica looking for a better life.

    That should tell you something.
