How many times did the Browns have to start guys like Wallace and Dorsey against Pittsburgh? I don't want to hear any excuses
It's not even close to the same, sorry. You also aren't hearing excuses. You'd have been slaughtered today if Ben played. I don't think anyone seated in reality on this board would suggest otherwise.

Yeah so? If Shur-loss hadn't tried to hand you the game- a competent team- like the Texans would have beaten you by 50. 7 turnovers, and it's a one score game? Get f**king real.

The defense lost that game, apparently you didn't watch it. The defense isn't playing like that anymore so your point is pretty moot. The Browns would have lost by a few scores if Ben played. I'm not trying to be a dick, just a pretty solid assumption. (Please check the state line for Ben in the Oakland game and report back)
EDIT: Actually I doubt you'll actually check and if you do you won't post it. He was 36 for 49 for 384 4 td's no int's. I'm not going to sh.it up this thread with a bunch of "woe is me" after a Browns win but the facts are the facts. You'd have likely lost if Ben played and I think that's pretty obvious. Enjoy the win. I just hope the Steelers can get healthy.

What do you mean you don't care? They lost to Oakland. I'm not denying that, but Ben was playing MVP type football before his injury and the defense early in the season wasn't playing well. Now the defense is playing well and Ben is hurt. Now combine the two and it's a Browns loss. I know you aren't stupid and I don't expect you to admit it but once again anyone seated in reality here know that would have been the likely outcome. (I posted Ben's stats for the Oakland game in my previous post)

I think his point is that if 3rd string guy Batch put up 7 points that Ben probably would have managed a little better. We managed 17 points off of 7 turnovers - not counting last play obviously. We didn't exactly make the most of our chances, but we did enough. After last week, not choking is a huge improvement. A win is a win!!!

Our D looked great... very aggressive. What little chance PTG had went to the sideline when Adams was hurt... way too many O-line injuries for them to overcome.
Our O looked decent except for Wheezie trying to throw too damn hard down the field... all the short stuff was fine. My last issues with Wheezy are his toughness and leadership. I think today may have proved me right on the former... the guy is soft.
TR looked good, hit holes when there and finished runs. Gordon, as someone said, has true "beast" potential. Little is reliably hands catching now.

Batch put up zero points. Sheldon Brown handed the steelers 40 yards on a pass interference call and the RB scored the TD. Batch did pretty much nothing the entire game. You also can't forget the runningbacks for the steelers fumbled 5 times which is not on the QB..

Did you watch the game today? Richardson had one nice run up the middle for a TD, otherwise he went no where. The secondary was coming up and making tackles and the lb's were getting to the QB. How the hell can you say the defense didn't play well when we turned the ball over that many times? You're from another planet. Our offense as someone else already mentioned is designed around Ben. He's hurt and our back ups are clearly inadequate. Break down the roster age wise. I'm tried of hearing about how old it is when it's not old at all. Sure there are some players getting long in the tooth but most have young guys contributing behind them. Stop being a dumb ass.
