  • Andy Reid, no thanks. Another has been, the Eagles have sucked the last few years, he's another Holmgren hopeful for Cleveland.

Saban proved squat in the NFL, no thanks, plus he screwed Miami and bailed. Want that here ?

Rivers ? Phillip Rivers ? Guy cannot finish, chokes in every big game and chance.

    Alex Smith, good call.

With the heart this team has shown this season, rising halfway through the season, can you imagine what further boost a leader like Tebow would do for morale ? Sure would be nice to see somoen other than a wide eyed Weeden type driving the boat.

As were 80% of the rest of the people drafted.

Cocaine is becoming more and more a recreational drug. I saw a guy do a bump last night at a bar, for Christ's sake.

Yeah, that never happened in the 80's.

Uh, I hate to clue you Tim, but cocaine was a recreational drug in the 1970's. It might be making a come back and that is unfortunate. Good way to kill yourself.

    I meant again.

It's like people realized the effects it had on your heart and backed off throughout the 90s, and now they've forgotten and are back at it.

I say make it all legal and let the idiots kill themselves.

  • Things to like about Josh McDaniels:

    1. He's from Barberton, Ohio and attended John Carroll.

    2. Patriots have the #1 offense and he is their coordinator. Same could be said in 2007.

    3. His wife looks like the type that likes to give head:

Things to not like about Josh McDaniels:

    1. His offenses have ranked #18, #29 and #32 when not in New England

    2. He made highly questionable personnel moves in Denver and followed up Shurmur's #21 offense in St. Louis and made it the #32 offense.

    3. His wife won't be giving any of us head.

I guess he don't like Tebow because he openly expresses his religious belief. I think Tebow would be good, not great, but no worse then what we have now.

Yea, sorry, as a QB in the NFL Tebow would be worse than we have now. Worse than both Weeden and McCoy. Sorry.....CFL is where he should head.

There or arena. He'd dominate in arena.

  • Food for thought - Tebow and Cribbs on the field at the same time, WildDawg, screen to Cribbs, WTF ???

Defenses would have no freakin idea.

Having said that, I would love to see Cribbs throw the ball from a WildDawg call instead of running. No one would see that coming, he's always expected to run. He's got an arm right ?

    TEBOW ... TEBOW ... TEBOW !!!

... and OK, I give, Tebow as a TE or back up RB AND WildDawg with Cribbs. If he doesn't cost too much, why not ? Have him work out as QB as well, he'll surprise, he has before. Rex Ryan is a complete douche with no idea what to do with that team. No surprise, his father was one too.

  • We should pick up Vick and use him the wild cat, then he can throw interceptions and fumble the ball late in games and we can name it the choking dawg offense. heyoooooo

    Matt Cassel?

    Mark Sanchez?

Hell, Rex Grossman went a Super Bowl.

QBs are important to a team, but not that important where they create wins out of thin air.

Tim Tebow had the gnarliest defense of all time to help him. If he couldn't win as a QB on that team idk where else he could win...

In a nutshell, this Tebow BS is rediculous. This guy has no spot on the team, and the only reason anyone is talking about this is because of his ridiculous cult of personality. Let's talk about unsung heroes like TJ Yates who actually make their teams better. I'd snatch this guy up in a second.

Unfortunately Cribbs won't likely be with the Browns next year...so much as he and T'bow together.

  • Ugh Tebow fan boys. The guy is a good person, but he is not a NFL QB. If we sign him, it had better be to run gadget plays or change his position. As for Mallet, I'm not sure about him. He inaccurate in college and we haven't seen enough of him to know if thats improved.

  • McDaniels would be a good OC - nothing else. I don't want him anywhere near the actual control of a team. He is far too insecure to manage the emotions of grown men.

That "combination" is the pu pu platter of suck. Mallett is nothing resembling an upgrade, he's a sideways move at best. Tebow sucks. Lombardi is a far better TV analyst than an actual NFL executive.

Well, I think the same could have been said about Belichick...that he was far too insecure to manage the emotions of grown men. I believe that is absolutely true about his time in Cleveland. However I would add or change one word to your statement: "he was too insecure...or immature...to manage the emotions of grown men". I think BB ultimately became more mature (and secure)...and I think it highly possible that McDaniels could have become more mature..or secure...in dealing with grown men.

(That said, I can't say I disagree with your second paragraph)
