Josh Cribbs Makes Pro Bowl

I think that out of the coordinators we've had in Cleveland, Horton seems the most likely to use Cribbs in a defensive roll. Little guys that can hit. Send Cribbs on a blitz or have him drop deep and play catch out there. He's really good at locating the ball in the air and catching those kickoffs right on the back line... Just seems so obvious to me, I don't understand, what is there to lose?

TB is our only deep threat WR?
OK, Gordon had an outstanding ypc. What I worry about is turning Benjamin into a KR, he doesn't have the frame to absorb kill shots.

Definetly. I am NOT for Benjamin being the replacement of Cribbs. Ghoolie likes to say how Cribbs is "one shot" away from a vegetable. He has been out returner for how long? Benjamin would be a vegetable after ONE good shot. Benjamin has place as a WR, not as a ST returner. Cribbs has his place, as one of the best STers in the game.

Cribbs STILL hasn't signed with another team! Keeping the HOPE ALIVE that he RETURNS HOME to CLEVELAND!
Cribbs still has tons left in the tank and I'd love to see him get to 10 returns in his career, as a Brown.
Make it happen Lombardi, pleeease.

Good Lord, if the Browns had wanted Josh back it would have happened already. When you don't even make the player an offer, it's Adios.

You really should highlight and save that post referring to his grandma and his cat and the subsequent reply. I cannot remember laughing that hard at a post before on this board. I don't like cats but...... LOL.
Maybe we need a spot for classic posts and their replies. Good reading for after a Browns loss.

Good plan...only one problem with it. The Browns aren't going to lose this year.

Watch out 72 Dolphins here come the Browns! Even without Josh Cribbs. LOL

Richardson had better run for 1,500 yards, and score 12 touchdowns while were at it.
I'm sure you're selling Trent short. Be prepared to be amazed at the production he puts up when healthy. McCoy, Richardson, Gordon, Little, Cameron = Playoffs this season boys! I can't wait!
...I would have loved to add Cribbs to this list as he deserves it but it appears that he's headed to AZ...
