This elf logo is terrible.

We can't seriously be thinking of putting that thing on our uni's can we? I'm fine with the mascot, not the logo. And I certainly will not be buying any jersey's with that current logo on it. It's a non starter for me. I really don't care what they roll out at halftime to let the kiddies spear tackle and kick in the nuts, but what goes on the uniforms "matters" as well as what goes on the subsequent merchandise. We will be a laughing stock of the NFL with the current logo. I know things were different back in the 60's but were they really "that" different? I can't imagine an era where football players and their fans could get stoked over that kind of a logo. Can you imagine a classic NFL films promo for the Browns with that logo? I can't.

Well first off its not an elf. We need a logo that is not a picture of a helmet. I agree that any logo we choose should not be on the uniform, and just for use around the stadium and on merchandise. The logo with Brownie all toughened up that's been going around is ok with me. I prefer the dog or just using our name BROWNS as a logo but anythings better than a picture of a helmet....that's just so unimaginative and generic.

lmfao...seriously, there's a distinction being made between elf's and hob's? rofl. I saw jerseys in the stadium on Sunday with the above logo on it. I was utterly appalled and mortified. Literally I was stunned. I just stopped and stared at the logo, completely stopped paying attention the game. It was one of the most wtf moments in my life.

I think it's a really unique secondary logo but I tend to agree that would look stupid on main jerseys and the like. I've always viewed the elf (or brownie or goblin or whatever) as a neat, localized type deal.

that just looks like reaching, "BUT" if the elf/hob/whatever absolutely has to go on merchandise i'd rather have that than the original. But still, looking at these dog logo's...that's still my browns.
