    right, if you were a postdoc researching polymeric substrates you knew what the internet was in the 80's...not a 7 year old kid. HS, early to mid 90's, was my first introduction the internet. Care to speculate on what my main topic of interest was while trying to muffle the AOL dial up at 2am so my parents wouldn't know I was getting on the internet? Hint: it wasn't football.

    oh, when she did playboy right? forgot about that. Yeah I was already lookin up the hardcore stuff. God, the days when a picture came in line by line. Now I can dl a whole got damn movie within minutes. I actually shouldn't pretend like this is some long past behavior, it's still a problem I need to put a wall check on.

  • this is blasphemous, your fan privileges need to be revoked. but they are not going to be putting the elf on the uniform. and a few weeks ago my sisters work had a lunch/meeting thing with some browns executive named brent sthelik (i dont know why) and she said some guy asked about our uniforms and he said all rumors about uniforms are false, they have no plans to change the uniforms right now

    that's fine, like I said i have no problem with the mascot...it actually looks better than the logo. It's the logo i have a major issue with. I already saw it on some jersey's at the game last sunday and I hate it. I'm sorry but I hate it. If they gave it a modern revision, maybe I could drink the coolaid that Browns football is equated with mythical elf's/hobgoblins. If and only if it's drawn nice. I've seen now a couple fan art pieces of the brownie that do actually look kind of good. I still feel like it's stretching the whole browns mythical woodlands creature relationship....but whatevs I'll sport it if it looks like it will take the handoff and smash through the B gap leaving opposing teams helmets in it's wake.

  • no, a proper old school 'brownie' on the uniform is not blasphemous. some of those nike mockups with it centered above the numbers on the chest was cool. maybe even on one sleeve.

    better than the 'AL" patch they had to wear like it or not.

    remember how long it took for the money shot to appear? I sometimes wonder how I ever fapped to pictures that took minutes to materialize. I couldn't go back tbh. If high speed internet went away I'd probably just stop fapping, which is what I should do anyway but whatev.

  • I'm 25, didn't start following the Browns til '99 and am a huge fan of Brownie. It's original, has quite a bit of history, and has the whole "old school" appeal to it. All of the Brown's gear I own, besides my unfortunate Braylon Edwards jersey, prominently features Brownie. The dog and helmet are boring and while the football with the B in the middle isn't half bad, it's not the most creative logo I've ever seen. I'd prefer to have an original logo then a "badass" logo.
