Here is a trivia set about streaking....but not the kind you think. Sports streaks:

        1. What was the last city to have its teams win consecutive championships? (example: winning the World Series then winning the Super Bowl, or winning the NBA title then winning the WS)

        2. What is the last team in the 4 major sports (MLB/NFL/NBA/NHL) to win 3 consecutive championships?

        3. There is an Olympic Gold Medal swimmer who NEVER lost a race in his career, yet you know him beter for something else. Who is this?

        4. Which college football team holds the NCAA record (at any level) for most consecutive victories?

        5. What college holds the NCAA record (at any level) for most consecutive championships won in any sport?

        6. Which NFL team currently has the longest postseason appearance streak?

        7. The Browns, from 1946 to 1955 hold the record for most consecutive years with a postseason appearance, but these include the AAFC years. Which 2 teams hold the NFL only consecutive postseason appearance all time streak, with 9 years each?

        8. The Browns hold the NFL Championship game/Super Bowl appearance streak with 6 from 1950-1955. Tied for second with a 4 game appearance streak in a SB/NFL title game are those 1990s Bills. Which team from which era is tied with the Bills with 4 straight title game appearances?

        9. Which team holds the record for most consecutive post season victories?

10.A. Which NFL team has now gone the longest without making a playoff appearance?

        B. Which team has now gone the longest without a postseason victory?

        11. Which team has now gone the most years without appearing in a Championship game (either SB or NFL/AFL pre SB title game?)

        12. Of the 30 NFL markets (30 because NYC and SF/Oak have 2 each) how many have never seen a Super Bowl winner?

        13. The Chicago/St.L/Ariz. Cardinals hold the NFL record for having gone the most seasons without a post season victory (50 years). What team is second in that category?

        14. What is the only city that has had its teams win 4 consecutive titles (in terms of having one team win a title in one sport...then having another team win a title in another sport etc.)

        15. Which NBA team holds the record for the most consecutive playoff appearances?

Interim Report. A little over half of the right answers have been given. Here is what is left:

                    1. What is the last city to have two of its teams win consecutive Championships (one right after the other)...and we know it is not Boston or Chicago.

                    5. Which school in which sport in any division holds the longest consecutive championship streak of all time?

Hint: it is NOT a D-1 type school.

                    8. Besides the Browns and the Bills, what is the only other team to appear in 4 consecutive Championship games? and we know it is not the Niners or the Packers

                    9. Which NFL team won the most consecutive postseason games. And we know this is not the Broncos or the Steelers.

                    12. How many NFL markets have never seen a Super Bowl winner?

                    13. Next to the Cardinals who went 50 years, which NFL team is second in going the most number of years without winning a postseason game?

                    15. Which NBA team holds the record for most consecutive years making the playoffs. We know this is not the Celtics or the Lakers.

New York must be close to having 2 titles at the same time? I know the Giants weren't awful before this year, and the Yankees are pretty decent, right? And I've heard of the Rangers and Knicks which usually means they're good (or really bad).

I assume you are replying to question 1? Well, No, it is not NY.

(and FYI, the Knicks have not won a title in 40 years....1973, and the Rangers in about 20 years)

And note, last time the Yanks won was 2009, the Saints won the succeeding SB, nor did NY teams win the succeeding NBA or NHL titles.

(and FYI, the Knicks have not won a title in 40 years....1973, and the Rangers in about 20 years)

And note, last time the Yanks won was 2009, the Saints won the succeeding SB, nor did NY teams win the succeeding NBA or NHL titles.

Meh, fair enough. Really don't know (or care) about other american sports 😛

                            1. Pittsburgh? (Steelers and Penguins)

                            5. Kenyon in D-3 for men's swimming and diving. 31 straight. (I cheated and looked it up)

                            9. Patriots

                            15. Spurs

                                  9. Didn't look it up. Couldn't tell you the exact years but it ended with the Giants beating them in the Super Bowl the first time (ruining their undefeated season)

I'm assuming your reluctance is due to the fact that their correct?

                                          1. Steelers beat the Cardinals and couldn't tell you who the Penguins beat. I remember wanting Warner to win one last championship and the Steelers to lose. After the Penguins won the media kept talking about Pittsburgh being the new "title town" blah blah blah.

                                          8. Stab in the dark. They're a storied franchise with a long history.

I highly doubt anyone would've been able to pull the Kenyon fact out of their ass unless we have some hardcore D-3 swimming and diving fans in the house. The others could plausibly be guessed.
