I could be wrong but I don't think we are as far away as you think. With 7 picks in rounds 1 thru 4 and a ton to spend in free agency we can do a lot more than a couple of players to right the ship.

Jackson is overrated. You guys all love him cause he leads us in tackles every year. He might get a lot of tackles but they are 8 yards down the field. He is far from a stud linebacker.
