They scored with the #1 so if he continues to improve that draft is going to be counted as a win. He outplayed our 8m hand me down from the Ravens so i'm impressed.

c'mon man. one guy out of how many when we needed all hits?

hey i love mingo but unless mcfadden steps up and becomes a legit backfield player that draft is hardly a 'win'.

I think McFadden will be ok, He's shown pretty well for a 3rd round rookie.

Jamoris Slaughter was put on IR at the beginning of the year.

Armonty Bryant has been a situational pass rusher

And Garret Gilkey has filled in at times at guard and got the start today.

So they all have gotten playing time except Slaughter and we have a 3rd and 4th round pick this year that we acquired by trading a 4th and 5th last year.

1st Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU 3rd Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State4th Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma5th Earl Wolff, S, N.C. State6th Lucas Reed, TE, New Mexico

nothing bad about it either considering they were 3rd, 6th, and two 7th round picks. Only time will tell

Pretty sure no other professionally recognized sports franchise in all of pro sports has this kind of revolving door. Who the fuck wants to coach the Cleveland Browns? Who? I better hear by tommorrow that some big name coach was already on board before today and that's why they let CHud go. Otherwise we're going to hold out our hands again this offseason and beg people to come here? We're gonna get shit that's what we're gonna get. Even up and coming coaches who would contemplate coming here to make a name for themselves aren't gonna do it now. They know their career can and will likely die here in Cleveland. YOu didn't play .500 ball your first year? Bye!!! That doesn't work. By firing Chudzinski today we utterly guaranteed a sub .500 season next year. New system, new players...another rebuild. Fantastic. Do you all realize this yet? Next year is already over. This season just ended and next season ended a mere hour later. We're gonna have a new system with 7 rookies in likely some very important positions. 4 wins tops next year. You can forget about retaining any of our guys that have the option to be gone next year. Nobody's coming back here. Another rebuild year next year. How the fuck are some of you not completely stock tired of this?

The team quit after the special teams meltdown against Cinci. You can have the franchise QB, bruiser RB, and a offensive and defensive philosphy capable of stomping through any opposition, but if you lose the locker room it's over. Chud couldn't get the team to play for him anymore. I know it. You know it. This board knows it. The team looked like a bunch of heartless players ever since the bye week. If he can't win them over, which he didn't, he doesn't need to stick around. If anyone wanted Chud to succeed more than me, I'd like to meet him, but it was over a long time ago.

You're talking out your ass. You have no clue. You have no inside information that suggest the players quit on Chud, so STFU.

We need a GM who can get us a good coach and knows how to draft. Wonder if Mike Holmgren is avaiable?

Another sad day for the Cleveland Browns. I'm 45 Years old and have come to the conclusion that this team may not win anything in my lifetime. I hope that I am wrong but they really have not shown anything in the past 7 years to make me feel any better. What a joke.

Oh I am, am I? I can see when players quit dude. Just because you have a man crush on Chud and want to have his babies doesn't exclude you from knowing the team quit on him. If he was so good why is fired today.

I would like to point out that this is the most redundant thread title in the history of sports forum boards........

Something like This Is The Worst Organization In All Off Professional Sports would have sufficed......

The redundancy of the title was on purpose.I was pacing yesterday for good reason, it had come to my attention that the 2014 season was likely already in the bag. I had consigned myself to this season ending like it had but had optimism going into this draft. Instead we're going to have 7 rookies coming into a new system along with everyone else. We could have had 7 rookies coming into a 2nd year system where some of the vets now had a handle on it. Ain't gonna happen now.
