  • How can you say he had no chance for success? The team was tied or in the lead at half time 10 times this season and only won 4 games. Even 3-3 in the 6 losses when we were in that situation makes it a respectable 7-9 season and we aren't having discussions about who the new coach is going to be today.

Mark I am curious as to whether you blame the defense or offense more in those 6 losses?

I think both sides deserve blame. But ultimately the head coach is going to take the blame for not making adjustments.

  • It had better be a fucking QB is all I can say.

Johnny Football. Fuck it, I'm on board. He's either going to be a star or a steaming pile of shit.

Roll the dice Jimmy, get er done!!!!!!!!

It totally makes sense, McDaniels will love him.

The kid was amazing in the only game I ever saw him play in. I would have no problem with it.

  • I think no matter what happens the Browns will Trade up to #2 overall with the Rams and Draft Manziel or Bridgewater if he is available. We need a QB and we shouldn't let Jax get our guy

  • Bortles or Watkins are the only possibilities I will endorse, well I guess if bridgewater falls and bortles is already gone he would be ok. Manziel is a reach in the first round. I'd select him in round seven as seven is the number of games he'll play before his bones are ground to dust.

  • We should seriously think about trading up, the Rams have already stated they are willing to listen to offers.

    no fucking way.

with the number four pick we can prob land manziel straight up. what another TR reach? ask the redskins how they feel about all those picks they traded away as they clean out their lockers.

After the grade out all the players, they will probably have 2 or 3, possibly more, QBs they might think are franchise worthy. Depending on how they grade out the players will probably determine what they do. If they determine there are two QBs in this draft class that are a cut above, you must trade up. If they believe there are 4 of about equal stature that changes your thinking. You cannot play lets hope the QB we want drops to us or we will be having this same issue forever.

^^^ This right here Banner, Lombardi and ?

  • I guarantee the Rams trade out and Browns should be that team and take Manziel. Then I like Odell Beckham Jr with the Colts pick.

Trade up to #2 to select the fifth best qb in the class....sounds great. Here's an idea let's trade up to #1 and select Stephen Morris

  • every draft model i've seen today has us pick manziel or bortles at number four without making any moves.

i would do the opposite and trade down get the best CB or WR then pick the best QB with your second first round pick.

but that's just me unless th second coming of aaron rodgers is blake bortles or johhny manziel.

Bortles is the second coming of roethlisberger and manziel is the second coming of Tebow.

  • I'm happy with any of bortles, watkins, or carr.

    manziel is tebow.

  • The more I think about it, the more I'd be ok with starting Hoyer for a year, and then drafting something like:

    1a Barr/Clowney

    1b Best OL available

    2. Allen robinson - or some appropriate WR

3a Shayne Skov - assuming we stay with 3-4. In 4-3 maybe this is different

3b Carlos Hyde - just for the homerism, assuming we don't bring baker back.

  • In all fairness JaMarcus Russell and every Raider was an Al Davis pick.

Maybe. But it counts on Lombardi's record. And that is just one pick. Lombardi has a whole other decade of disaster on his record.

It seems to me that he is the anti King Midas. Everything he touches turns to shit.

  • The draft class next year is better at QB than this year. I have said it before I would not be disappointed if we Don't get a QB in the 1st round this year. We have a ton of needs.

  • I can honestly say the only player in the draft that I don't want in any way, shape or form, is Manziel. Right behind that feeling is us trading up from 4 to grab a QB, but if we do, it had better not be for Manziel.

  • Personally, I think trading up from #4 would be dumb (unless they traded almost NOTHING to do it), and I don't think they could make it happen even if they wanted to. Remember, the entire plan going into the Richardson/Weeden draft was to trade up, and we see how that turned out.
