  • So, allegedly, the Browns are letting it be known, that they

    really, really want Manziel, and will trade up for him. Ordinarily, I'd

    figure this was bogus, except with Banner and Scumbardi in the fo......

    Then, this report - the Dolphins knew Bess had mental and other problems...
    and didn't tell the Browns before the trade...and the Browns didn't do their homework.
    Until Banner and Scumbardi are gone, Haslam can go to hell. I mean, who makes
    a trade like that? Kinda like, drafting that lb in the fourth round, then he never even
    gets signed because of legal troubles that were already in place? At least that
    wasn't scumbardi...I think. Think it was savage.

  • Ouch, the comments on the Manziel article are brutal... lots of talk about him pulling a eli/elway on us also. I would assume everyone on draft day will have their fingers crossed praying the Browns don't pick them. It really is a factory of sadness.

    If those reports are true, Banner and Lombardi should be fired immediately. You never, ever tip your hand this early in draft season. I mean, hell's bells, they haven't even worked the kid out or interviewed him.

    Exactly- if Gase & Quinn are their top two targets, it's certainly going to come up in the interview what they think of Johnny Football. So they can certainly say his qb style doesn't fit my system, so no thanks. They'll both have far more attractive offers in 2015.

    Because if the Browns FO office has the standard of intelligence they should have, stuff like this would never have come out. Unsubstantiated rumor? Manziel's agent?

  • It's probably propaganda from someone else, like the Texans or Rams, trying to drive up the price of their pick. Surely not even these guys can be that Retarded. Or maybe they're trying to drive Manziel's stock up, so that he gets taken higher - maybe the Raiders trade up to 2 to get him, and we're hoping for Bridgewater or Bortles to fall.

    If the report is accurate and BanBardi let everyone know their draft strategy months before the draft I'm gonna try my hardest to set up a game of high-stakes poker with these mongoloids.

    'Peen, there's plenty of us out here who aren't lame ass fans that have serious doubts about The Stooges competence to run an NFL franchise. If they blow this draft, they can start scheduling tractor pulls in First Energy Sunday afternoons in the fall, the stadium will be so empty.

    They did pull off a nice heist with Trent Richardson.

    They also drafted Gordon and Cameron whom are look elite players in their respective positions.
