If those reports are true, Banner and Lombardi should be fired immediately. You never, ever tip your hand this early in draft season. I mean, hell's bells, they haven't even worked the kid out or interviewed him.

Exactly- if Gase & Quinn are their top two targets, it's certainly going to come up in the interview what they think of Johnny Football. So they can certainly say his qb style doesn't fit my system, so no thanks. They'll both have far more attractive offers in 2015.

It's probably propaganda from someone else, like the Texans or Rams, trying to drive up the price of their pick. Surely not even these guys can be that Retarded. Or maybe they're trying to drive Manziel's stock up, so that he gets taken higher - maybe the Raiders trade up to 2 to get him, and we're hoping for Bridgewater or Bortles to fall.

'Peen, there's plenty of us out here who aren't lame ass fans that have serious doubts about The Stooges competence to run an NFL franchise. If they blow this draft, they can start scheduling tractor pulls in First Energy Sunday afternoons in the fall, the stadium will be so empty.

Lombardi was critical of the browns pick of Gordon.
The browns have 6 players representing the pro bowl.
4 of them were when Heckert was here (since 2010: Haden/Ward/Gordon/Cameron)
Plus other solid players : Phil Taylor, Skrine, Tashaun Gipson, Benjamin.
I don't think he did too shabby in his time here, other than the notorious 2012 first round. But rumor has it that was the walrus overruling Heckert.
