yes ward doesn't play CB but we do need one of both (S and CB).
from what pettine has said don't expect the browns to be first out of the gate spending tons of money in FA.
sounds like they want to build through the draft. wouldn't mind taking a look at one of the tackles though.

If Byrd could not be signed, or TJ not re-signed.....what would you think about Donte Whitner coming home to Cleveland? (he is rated the #3 best FA safety behing Byrd/Ward)

How about Brandon Browner? I think hes 29 or so, and has a bit of a ganja problem, but theres no questioning his man coverage and bump abilities.

On the source I saw he was not listed....perhaps because of his suspension issue. But if he is back and available....and smoke free, he would clearly be worth a look.
