Not sure if it was PEDs, Pot or what exactly. All that I really read was substance-abuse policy.

According to Roto World here are the top FA OGs:

Offensive Guards

1. Geoff Schwartz

2. Travelle Wharton
3. Chad Rinehart

4. Willie Colon
5. Jon Asamoah
6. Zane Beadles
7. Brian Waters
8. Uche Nwaneri
9. Richie Incognito
10. Mike Johnson
11. Shawn Lauvao

So, per them if we could do the Double Schwartz it would be a decent upgrade over Lauvao.

Take Donald Butler ILB off the Board for ILB for the Browns. He resigned with the Chargers.

Same with Brent Grimes CB who resigned with the Dolphins.

[The Gipper]

FYI, the Browns also need a kicker. Billy Cundiff is a FA

and guess who else is availbable as a FA kicker: Phil Dawson

[The Gipper]

If Byrd could not be signed, or TJ not re-signed.....what would you think about Donte Whitner coming home to Cleveland? (he is rated the #3 best FA safety behing Byrd/Ward)

How about Brandon Browner? I think hes 29 or so, and has a bit of a ganja problem, but theres no questioning his man coverage and bump abilities.

On the source I saw he was not listed....perhaps because of his suspension issue. But if he is back and available....and smoke free, he would clearly be worth a look.

Chris Johnson is supposed to hit the market.
