    I want Watkins with the pick personally.

    But I do find it odd how common the sentiment is that you get a team together FIRST and then you add a quarterback. The quarterback is PART of the team... And it happens to be a position that the Browns have really struggled with for a long time.

    What I fear, is getting a TEAM together that is pretty decent and then picking mid-draft and never really finding that quarterback that fits later in the first round. If this management team feels as though one of these guys available can be the answer, then get him. Because you never know when you're going to get another chance to do so.

  • I harp on manziel because we got guys in here that have been "suffering for four decades" not wanting to draft a QB when we need a QB.Weve got to get one of these three.

    Why can't the guys who are gung-ho on drafting a qb in general, and Johnny Football in particular, get it through their heads DE and WR ARE important? QB is the most important position sure, but he doesn't win games by himself. (Though Weeden managed to lose a few by himself) Flacco, Rothlisberger, Rodgers, Stafford, and Ryan all suck right? Common denominator- none of their teams made the playoffs in the 2013-2014 season, because their teams weren't good enough.

    I'm not waiting for Andrew Luck, but I'll take the next Bernie Kosar or Joe Flacco. Besides, the QB NOW camp has already thrown Hoyer under the bus without even giving him more than the two games (that he looked pretty good in) to have a fair shot. That does not make me happy. Does that mean we shouldn't draft a qb this May? Absolutely not, but the question is where.

    What did the Broncos do after they lost the SB, with one of the best qbs in the history of the game? Went out and got themselves a CB, LB and safety. DUH. Seems like the Seahawks won the Super Bowl because they were better at those positions, not to mention DE. Or you want to tell me Russell Wilson is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning?

    Go look at the teams that have played in the last 10 Super Bowls, and tell me how many of them featured "pocket passer only" or "mostly pocket passer" only. Flacco, the Mannings, Brady, Brees, Only kick your ass qb on the list is Rothlisberger, who only runs when he has to.

    Wilson? Kick your ass? Funny- very funny. You even watch the Super Bowl? Seattle won the game with a kick ass defense, not Russell Wilson. Incidentally, that looks like what Pettine's MO is going to be. Manziel is the one who's going to get his ass kicked in the NFL- the first time Ndamukong Suh get a good lick on him.
