I'm going to pick an individual player, proclaim the Browns won't draft him out of the hundreds of prospects, then claim brilliance after the draft. It'll be Pulitzer shit.
do it! do it right now with your own personal jesus!
you pick one and let me pick one. the guy that's right is the king of the board and will receive (by me) a personal care package filled up by all good thing from the hudon valley (don't worry about the clock ticking noise.............)
my personal pick of perpunderance would have to be storm johnson in the late 6th round. if we don't pick him, i'll send the care package. you pick someone and let's see how it goes. meanwhile remember you believe the browns won't pick yor guy over the hundred of prospects making him a long shot, like johnson..
let's get it on.
who's your ninja pick?

how many of those QBs played in the SEC? I kinda want to see your source. I know he had a bad game against LSU but, how is he possibly the worst of em all?
I'm on my phone and surfing the net sucks balls on this thing so I can't find the actual list but there's a link to an article talking about it.

“When opponents sent extra pass rushers, Manziel had a hard time identifying and adapting to the blitz; he completed 60 percent of his passes when opponents blitzed, which was 14 percentage points lower than when they dropped seven or more players into coverage.
“To put that in perspective, every FBS quarterback rated in the top 150 by Scouts Inc. had a higher completion percentage against the blitz than Manziel last season.”

nfl network and nfl.com quoting a major scout saying "EVANS MADE MANZIEL. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND."
man, i ain't no reporter but even i knew that.
-
No, i picked the MOST media covered, over-hyped, everybody talkin bout player,
and saying the Browns will not draft him, Mike H.
You go ahead and pick Desmond Halfbaked, and say the same thing.
Big difference.

Says Manziel isnt Browns weather material, wants Bridgewater. ^
neither one of them are, but i'd take manziel over brigewater.
those long throws at his pro day (manziel) would be picked off in a fast second playing in cleveland in december. but he brings more to the table (IMO) than bridgewater pro-ready or not.
i doubt if either in a browns uniform come may.

I can't believe you & I are in agreement, but I wouldn't draft Watkins at 4 either. I also wouldn't draft Bridgewater. I'll leave the talent evaluation to the Pros, but I wouldn't spend pick# 4 on either of those guys. Just gut feelings by me, but what the hell do I know? If THEY chose them, of course I'll support that decision. We'll see.

I hate bumping the thread, but saw something from the PD JF really needs to work on.
"Despite the shaky Pro Day, Bridgewater still feels worthy of the No. 1 overall pick.
"The biggest reason I feel is I’m a servant leader,'' he said. "I’m someone who wants to make everyone else around me better people, better players with nothing in return. I’m not looking for any recognition or anything like that; I’m a team player, someone that’s willing to go the extra mile, willing to come in early and go the opposite way. Not go in that locker room and try to win guys over, but win guys over by going in that film room and that offensive room and learning the playbook right away; breaking down film, showing the guys that I understand what’s going on.''
If Manziel had this kind of attitude, I'd like him a hell of a lot more.

yeah, those were the questions zimmer aired publicly the other day.
is JF REALLY committed? or is it all just a show to add to his celebrity and get taken higher than he's worth.

My concerns with Johnny are not off the field or as a leader.
In that regard, I think he is a Bret Favre ... loves having fun, but the guys in the locker room will love him because he's "cool" and one of them.
Just wish he was a little taller, thicker and possessing of a rocket arm like Favre.

Maybe the Browns will take him just for the publicity factor. Like the Redskins when they took RGIII. All the networks wanted to talk about was RGIII, win or lose. Andrew Luck didn't get half the run as RG.
If the Browns took Manziel, they would certainly have the networks sniffing around all day and all night.

The Redskins took RG3 because he was the 2nd best player in the draft, behind only Luck- not because of publicity - teams do not base their draft decisions based on publicity - nothing - player, coach or Storyline will play better than the Cleveland Browns winning football games. If the Browns draft Manzel will it get them a Monday night football game? maybe...but that is hardly a reason any football team would use to draft a particular player. If the browns draft Manzel it will because they think he gives them the best chance to win.

I still like Teddy B the most out of the QB's - up until the ridiculous time between the last college football game and the draft Teddy was the consensus #1 QB for the last two years. He is the only QB of the big 3 that called his own plays in a pro style offense at the line... he has the best mechanics, footwork and he did not show any sign of breaking down under pressure... if the Browns go QB at 4 and TB is there- RUN TO THE PODIUM
