  • First off Johnny is not going to run around and make plays, everyone is as fast or faster. Two he dose not have to accuracy to make plays he will be facing nfl cb. Three he's never played in cold windy weather. McCoy found out that. And four we are trying to change the culture in Cleveland we don't need a little baby bitch with a big head coming in there thinking his shit don't stink. And he's not going to come in there in the first year and play better than hoyer. If it was me I would pass on him and any other qb till at least the fourth round and wait till next year to get Winston if he continues to progress. Get the best pieces you can now. That's how you win not by getting the so called next big thing. Denver went out and got manning howed that turn out defense and a run game win.

  • walter is going to implode any minute now.

if we pick manziel there are going to be a group of people that come out of their bunkers to cheer the american way. hell we might even shoot off some rockets towards russia we'll feel so confident.

    go johnny!

  • WalterWhite...you dumb ass. Johnny's over inflated confidence is why he won't make it in the NFL. Have you actually watched film of him throwing the ball? His scripted pro day doesn't count (though that was tits). He throws into coverage and only gets bailed out because of shit DBs and Mike Evans pulling the ball out of the black hole it's continually thrown into.

Don't compare Manziel to Wilson. Size is your only grounds for comparison. Wilson's decision making on and off the field are in a different universe when compared to Manziel. Jackpot Johnny is more similar to Tebow than Wilson.

Did you honestly compareManziel to Rodgers? Manziel will never throw the ball like that....ever.

  • Yards are overrated. Case and point, Timmy Chang. I want a pro caliber arm and good decision making on the field. He'll be more injury prone that Mike Vick running like her does and will have DBs chomping at the bit, waiting for him to fling one their way. Jackpot Johnny throws the ball up, receiver saves his ass, Johnny yells "JACKPOT!!!," and somebody in thebdraft comes out "looking like a donkey."

Rodgers amy have endorsed him, but what was his first and primary reason? He didn't apologize for being a bigity bitch. Then he followed that was what I would expect to see on a generic QB resume...he can make plays, uhhh play football...he's confident. I would have given it credit if he said Jackpot Johnny can make NFL caliber throws.

  • so why don't I believe anything any coach has to say a few weeks before the draft?

    WSS

  • I like Brett Smith, Wyoming, in the fourth, a lot better than Manziel in the first.

Yes, I watched him pass for more yards, yards per average, completion %, and TD's than ANYONE in the SEC.

I watched him throw for more yards than Bortles, Bridgewater, Winston, Boyd, Mariota, Morris, Mettenberger, McCarron, and Murray.

I watched him have the 2nd highest QB completion of all QB's next to Teddy Bridgwater.

I watched him shred apart Alabama in the air and on foot 2 years in a row in epic epic battles.

I've seen his arm and what he can do bro

Yeah, and I saw Colt McCoy have a 170 qbr, and pass for a shit ton of yards in college too. Big whoop. So how's Colt doing in the pros? BTW, Colt consistently made better decisions than JF too. Chucking it up into quadruple coverage off balance on your back foot and hoping Evans is going to answer your prayer won't cut it in the NFL.

Edit: Know what I see out of JF? A more mobile version of Colt with a slightly stronger arm. Um plenty of pro scouts question if his game as currently constituted translates to the NFL. Does not go through his progressions, and takes off running far too often when his primary receiver isn't open. Care to refute that?

  • Can anyone really say these superbowl teams have a great QB?

    Seattle Seahawks

    NYG

    Baltimore Ravens

None of these 3 teams have GREAT QB, but they had GREAT defense.

QB is important, but Pettine is right...too much emphasis is put on the QB when it's a team sport.

Too early to say for sure whether or not Russell Wilson is great or not but he looks pretty damn good for his first 2 years. Eli would be in the top 10 for QB's in the league I would guess and you don't win two super bowls by accident.

The Ravens are the only team that truly won a super bowl in spite of their QB. Didn't they go like 4 games that season without scscoring a TD?

2x Pro Bowl QB, Pepsi Rookie of the Year, PFF OROY, 2x NFC Player of the Week, NFL OROM

2x Super Bowl MVP, 3x Pro Bowl QB, Maxwell Award, Johnny U. Golden Arm Award, NYG All-Time Leader in Passing Yards and Touchdowns

Super Bowl MVP, Pepsi Rookie of the Year, Ravens All-Time Leader in Passing Attempts, Completions, Yards and Touchdowns

Yeah, I guess the defense carried Flacco and Manning in those Super Bowls, even though they won MVP.

    yes. you are correct sir.

  • We need a great quarterback. Too bad Johnny Football is so darn tiny.

  • @walterwhite said:

    Like your dick.

He's bigger than Russell Wilson you absolute fucktard waste of DNA

Hi Walter White, Russell wilson is too small too. We need a bigger QB like Andrew Luck. Unfrotunately there is no Andrew Luck in this draft.

Certainly didn't look too small when holding up the Lombardi Trophy.

Hi Marko, actually it did make him look small. He doesnt have tiny hands like Manziel though. Manziel would be a great, great qb if he wasnt so darn small. I really like him.

  • Did anyone even listen to what I said?

Pettine says that too much is put on a QB but brings in every single QB prospect coming out the draft this year. If you look at other teams and their invites and workouts it's very diverse and need and BPA oriented but ours has been, QB, QB, QB, QB, QB, QB, QB, QB, Gay LB, QB......

  • If you think what you posted has any relevance with what pettine said, you completely missed his point pog.

    Like....not even fucking close.

  • Dude, I say take Manziel and Carr in the first round. Trade whatever it takes but get it done. Then we'd have Johnny Football, Derek Carr and Brian Hoyer at the QB position and we would have the battle of all QB battles. It would be a huge hit and blockbuster sensation and we'd sell the rights to HardKnocks to get enough money to fix the gawddamn parking lots! 😎
