  • We have a bunch of angry 9-5er's in here mad Manziel will never work a day in his life while partying with celebs and beautiful women and they want him to behave in a way they approve of. Too bad. Johnny does what he wants and won't change for anyone.

If he wins on the field, you will all love him regardless.

    You will never get it.

It's NOT ABOUT winning and losing. It's about a NEW DIRECTION...a NEW HOPE...

He can be the starting QB and win 10 games next season but he is ONE DRUNK NIGHT away from destroying himself and this franchise. And don't give me the crap that he won't. It's already a FACT, the dude has alcohol issues and uses alcohol to address his inner demons.

This dude has the potential to set us back YEARSSSSSSSSSS....

  • And he has the potential to set the Browns forward lightyears too. So he is someones worst nightmare. Let's hope this quote is on the money in the NFL

Kirby Smart (Bama's D coordinator): "Oh god, Johnny Manziel. I mean nightmare for us. He is the perfect storm for us because he is athletic, he can move around in the pocket but yet he can still make the throws. You know, the first year he ran all over us and we said okay we are going to rush five, do the Michael Vick theory, fill up the pass rush lanes, come after him and then he made every throw. He had a huge receiver out there that gave us problems matchup wise. So for us, that was a nightmare. Next guy would probably be Cam Newton. Where he was a different kind of talent, it is hard to stop but it is different then Johnny. Johnny gives nightmares, Cam is just so big."

  • Yes Bama D again.

    What about LSU?

They shut him down twice. What went wrong there?

  • Bama's D would rank 32nd in the NFL, and by a lot.

  • The dude played with 3 top 10 NFL picks on the offensive side of the ball over the past 2 seasons:

    WR - Mike Evans - 7th Overall

    T - Luke Joeckel - 2nd Overall

    T - Jake Mathews - 6th Overall

And if the draft is today, Cedric Ogbueh (Tackle) would also be a TOP 10 pick. I'm surprise he was even touched all season with arguably the highest ranked offensive line EVER in the HISTORY of College football.

That luxury will not be there with the Cleveland Browns. He'll need to know the god damn playbook in this league. You JFF fanboys can take that 'improvised' skill set of his and shuffle it up your asses.

    1. yes it is, winners can do what they want. I'd rather have a winning QB that is hated than a lovable loser.

    2. I'll send a priest over to your congregation to exercise Johnny of his demons right way. Once again, you're judging others.

You just talked about how upstanding of a citizen you were in your church and just took the lords name in vein.

You also just old us to "shove it up our asses", you sound like a great Christian Role model.

I am a Johnny Fanboy and proud to be. I love Manziel and the fact he's the face of the franchise.

    Yep.

It's all true. I love Johnny Manziel, the QB of this team.

I love the excitement and energy and the attention he's brought our team and can't wait for him to lead us to the playoffs.

No, actually sitting here in my Manziel jersey, glad I could make a financial contribution to him and The Browns. He's the #1 selling jersey and good for him. Anything to put money in his pocket, I'll gladly help. We need to invest in him.

I've already registered for training camp to go watch him QB our team to success and get reps under his belt.

I'm beyond excited for the 2014 football season, the season of the Rookie, the season of Manziel.

I think his connection with Cameron and Hawkins is going to be key for his success as our long term starter for a very very very long time.

  • Love all of the JF threads turning into crap by page 4. The dude is immature for sure and parties like a rock star. As stated before, if this does not affect his job and he preforms at a high level, then great. As of right now, the media is making the biggest deal out of it. Ever since they could not come into the OTA's, they have made sure Johnny has been posted all over. He will get it, I just hope he knows that all of the Defenses we face this year are going to want to beat the hell out of him.

  • This.

His life to live and no one else's.

    Training Camp will be awesome.

  • Walter, at first I tolerated your posts, now you have become nothing more than an asshole. Please get the fuck out of here.

  • I'm not being an asshole I'm cheering on a Browns player and fully supporting the team.

We all want a winner here, right?

  • i'm sure a lot of lover boys of trent richardson wish they could get their money back on those jerseys they bought. (right PoG?)

hell i've got jerseys of the great william green and steve everitt, amongst others.

where are they now and how did that work out for the browns?

just sayin. don't count your chickens before they're hatched. let's see if what all you manziel afficiandos keep touting is correct....he works hard, he competes hard, he'll learn the playbook and make up the distance between he and hoyer.

the problem is RIGHT NOW all we see of manziel is him acting like a celebrity not a football player.

actually no, if ags have a kicker or Evans doesn't gift a pic to LSU from a perfect manziel pass, ags win

manziel had more offense personally than LSU had as a team. not getting raped is not shutting him down.

2nd game, that was by far manziels worst game. I would say his only bad game.Rumors he was hurt and Offensive coordinator was changed after. But nevertheless.... 25/26 being the best player on the field, is that good?

  • And he has the potential to set the Browns forward lightyears too. So he is someones worst nightmare. Let's hope this quote is on the money in the NFL

The JB hate coming from NFL fans is something i cant relate to. I honestly dont know much about the kid to actually care enough. All i know is he is big time celebrity that has been through some controversy. Mayweather is his new buddy. I guess i just dont give a fuck about all this nonsense. Just reeks of judgmental losers that have no life of their own.

Get used to it pal This ain't the rah-rah college crowd- this is the damn NFL big boy league. Browns fans have thrown snowballs at Santa Claus one Christmas when a player took him out on the sidelines in December. A few Browns qbs were cheered after they got hurt- because they were playing so poorly. As to being a "judgmental loser"- everybody is- and has to be eventually, just a matter of degree. You think I shouldn't have an opinion of the guy who walked up to a woman in a bus stop and shot her in the head for no reason? Or the woman who got drunk off her ass- .236 blood alcohol- and took a spin up the wrong side of an Interstate and killed a few people?

Maybe that's over the top-so I'll use another perspective- of a parent with a 21 year old college kid. Do you think Manziel's dad thinks what his son has been doing for the last few years off the field is way cool? I seriously f**king doubt it.
