All I know is my high school alma mater we're the Chargers and we had a bad ass horse logo.

A buffalo, or a bison might be an ungulate. But a "Bill" last time I looked was a homo sapien.

It was Barron Hilton who chose the name Chargers......and he named them after a credit card. He had an interest in like Diner's Club or something. That is how they got there name.
