  • I'm sure Hoyer is medically fine, but it takes quite some time to restore all mental confidence in your knee, let alone full conditioning. I'm sure that knee feels fatigue at some point, training camp is tough on healthy players, let alone those coming off major knee surgery.

Look no further than RGIII last year. Had the knee surgery, spent all preseason telling everyone how healthy he was, but he never once looked comfortable with his knee last year. Its a mind f'er.

It's certainly possible Hoyer is experiencing what I would call conditioning fatigue. I doubt his rehab workouts were anywhere near as strenuous as training camp. I can put in 100 miles on a bike in a day- next day is rest up. Not 20 days in a row like the Tour de France riders do.

I'll parrot Tour- limp? Source please- not your subjective opinion.

    the wonderlick?

i would hope most of us would be able to ace that joke of a test.

manziel must have taken it after being out on the town the nite before.....thought he'd do better than 32.

Not as easy as you think it is Mik- the problem is there's a time limit too. Given all day, most intelligent college grads would probably score at least 32. You only have 12 minutes to answer 50 questions, that gives you about 15 seconds per question. Pat McInally was the only person to ace it, and Ryan Fitzpatrick got 48\50- both Harvard grads, and I know RF's gpa was somewhere around 3.89.

Now Claiborne scoring a 4, wow, that's hard to do.

Here's a sample question- if you suck at math, you're going to take too much time. "A bike travels 7 feet in 1/3 of a second. At the same speed, how many feet will it travel in 5 seconds?" The answer is 21 X 5 = ?

  • Seen it in person, Hoyer cant fully extend his knee and it causes a limp. Very noticeable when hes walking on sidelines. No clue why its not being mentioned in media, but everyone in my section was talking about it during family day, wasnt hard to see.

  • I've read that JFF is now the starter.

  • Brother Leon [spinks] don't need to be no rocket scientist.

"What do you do brother Leon?"

    I knock motherfuckers out.

  • I think there is some real concern about Hoyer. He has a slight limp, and he's no longer making the throws he opened camp with. Some say he's lost some zip. He might not actually be physically ready right now. Its one thing to have the knee healthy enough to play, its another to have it ready to play day in and day out.

the more i read of you, the more i think i begin to smell a little "Brown Warrior" in the letters...

ur vernacular is shep-pish...but ur "alias-game" is not too shep-tacular.

--if ur not him simply disregard this post as it probably makes utterly zero sense to you. 🥷

  • Is Hoyer wearing a knee brace? If so, I imagine that would limit his range of motion, and

would create the appearance of a limp.

  • I'm getting the feeling Hoyer should have gone ahead and signed that offseason extension he was offered.

  • 32 is pretty high on that test

32 is the 98th percentile in the ACT. I had one kid get a 32 on it, the other got a 22 (which is still the 63rd percentile)

Plus it was Jim Brown's number, so its a good number.

  • Mary Cay tweeted about 14 mins ago that Hoyer is back with First Team. Means nothing still as we all know they are rotating.

  • hoyer should get his leg lopped off and become a towel boy because he has a limp.

i guess when you have a limp you become useless.

Well after listening to years and years of preseason prognosticating by professionals getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to dissect the upcoming football season (and seeing the results) one must assume that the most astute person on a message board has insight that falls somewhere between the knowledge level one can expect from the guy that fetches coffee for the lowest assistant coach and jack shit.

I can only imagine how truly fascinating the miracle board must be.

And nothing on the RG3 comparison? Nada?

Agree with point made that the brace may be a factor.

this place is like a car wreck you can't help but to slow down just in case you might see something horrific.

plus mike is a boomerang, you toss him and he keeps coming back.

  • Mike H's draft prognostication.......sad.

It's going to happen, better buy knee pads and start slurping the JF cock. You're going to be all over those balls in a little over a month.

Mike, Mike, you think us guys who would prefer Hoyer start a few games are going to jump off the I-480 bridge if Manziel beats him out?

I knew this shit was going to happen with every decent pass JF threw, oh, Hoyer's got a limp. Oh Johnny, you're so damn fabulous.

Hoyer will also start against the Lions, if you didn't hear. Sure, it means nada.

No, he wants to start scouting for the Browns. Nice job on the JF pick Mike- after the Browns passed on him-twice. Sheer luck he was still there, or maybe you missed out on Jerry Jones' comments?

  • So Mike, when does Johnny start and what's the record?

And does he snap the Heisman jinx?

And when does he lead us to the playoffs?

    That should be easy enough
