  • The Spurs have maybe one more year with Duncan and a good Manu. After that, they wont be the same team. The only team that would stand in our way would be the Bulls.

I think that's going on in Cleveland this weekend isn't it? That's an event in the Gay Games I believe.

Shit talk Quidditch all you want but it's the only sport I've ever seen a 125-lb girl drop a 225-lb man and break his collarbone.

It's also the only sport I've seen someone have a broomstick slice open their taint which required like 20 stitches.

  • It's not a sport and it's lame as hell. You have to pretend to ride a fucking broom for Christ's sake

What's wrong, you bruise your pussy practicing in the backyard?

  • You guys should've waited until the off season to sign Love. Y'all could have easily cleared the cap room with all the draft picks y'all have as sweetners. You don't think the 76ers would take on some salary for a first rounder? Throw Bennett in y'all can send out whatever salary you want basically. I'll admit I'm not privy to your cap situation but if there is a will, there's a way. The cap is only a problem if you lack draft picks.

Regardless of how Wiggins pans out, he's already a plus defender due to his athleticism and length. LeBron is now the only plus defender on the roster. Keeping Wiggins would've given your team more balance and reduced the wear of LeBron by him not having to guard the opposing teams biggest threat night in, night out.

This trade makes your team less balanced. Before the trade you would've had a top tier offense along with a legit (and possibly top tier if Varajao can stay healthy) defense. Now you'll have a top 3 offense and a bottom of the rung defense. That's not a winning recipe for championships in the NBA historically.

Despite my pessimism, I would probably put the Cavs as my second favorite team. With that said, if Rose is healthy, the Bulls are more of a favorite now in my eyes, at least in the East. They'll have a top tier defense regardless of Rose's health and they've loaded up on offense. If they even have a league average offense, they'll be the favorites, at least from a purely basketball stance.

I can't agree. the NBA is all about flash and me, me, me. There is VERY little us, and a whole lot of "look at me".

I know the Spurs win with a team first attitude. But most people don't even know who they are. Most people know Lechoke lost the finals more then the Spurs won it.

That is the problem with the NBA.

The only part of an NBA game that is exciting is in the last 2 minutes if the game is close. Otherwise it is boring

No. Baseball revolves around every pitch.

  • For the people who wantied to just sign Love as a free agent, you're assuming that he would make it to free agency. Minnesota would trade him for Greg Oden's ass pubes before they'd let him hit the open market. The cavs gave up a lot of potential and relatively cheap talent, but Cleveland fans have been through enough rebuilding; it's time to win.

At the deadline, probably. If they can sign him to a 5 year extension? That's a different story.

Y'all have the best player since MJ on your roster. Damn near every NBA player would love (no pun intended) to sign there. Do you really think Love, with his current reputation, would turn down a less than max deal from the Cavs next summer? Hell if y'all kept enough cap space for 2016 Durant would have to take a serious fucking look at joining the Cavs. I'm not sure how it would work positionally but you'd have to make that happen.

With that said, if you motherfuckers poach Durant I swear to God there will be a new Civil War between Oklahoma and Ohio. I don't want to meet any of you assholes across trenches so I guess I'm in favor of the Love trade now, as long as you lock him up long term.

  • It will go thru.

The fact that you've seen this played live amuses me greatly. As does your assertion that I'm a pussy for deriding a fake game based on children's fantasy novels beloved by absolute fucking nerds. You can keep it, I'm sure it suits you.

  • Time will tell if this trade was in the best long term interests of Cleveland. Obviously in the short term this means a run at some championships. If Wiggins becomes the next Durant like player I say this trade was fail even if we win 2 championships in the next 4 years....why? Cause with Wiggins we would have had relevancy for over a decade. We would have had the best player in the league, not the best player since MJ sorry that's Kobe, teaching potentially the next best in the league. I just don't see the Love trade taking load off of Lebron. The only thing that's going to do that is building a competent 2nd team. We're basically the Heat 2.0 now. Which might be fine. But fucking sucks to be a heat fan now though huh? They'll be lucky to be mediocre now. Bosch made a huge mistake resigning there, he should have gone to the Rockets. I dunno...I just don't want that. It's gotta take a little bit of the sweetness out of winning those two championships to now being this. That's what you get when you build a team completely around free agency. If anybody thinks Kevin Love wouldn't have come here after next year for slightly less money they're crazy. Even if Wiggins didn't pan out it would have given LeBron one year to gel with Kyrie. Those are the two that need to take reps together. Love can be inserted at any point. I dunno. We shall see what this was all about.

Love the Thunder and Durant- but they're a Harden short of the mix. They may well win the West.
