Mayock's take on the Hoyer is in him we have one of the 20-odd starting QBs in the NFL.
I agree with the "next stretch of games are pay games" angle for Hoyer. His performance, not necessarily our record, but his performance will determine if contract negotiation starts at bottom of starters or upper end of back-ups.
Good luck, Brian...

where were the mighty WRs we passed on or traded away?
AJ green? sanu?
owned by defense.

Don't be late for class tomorrow. I can't wait for professor Shorts' history lesson. Maybe class will be cancelled for a while now that I think about it. As for the professor, it would be kind if he WERE history.
Great game Brian Hoyer and great game Browns!

i thought he was an architect?

This is Brian's team rightfully so until he proves otherwise. Don't chastise the guy who's winning for you.

History has been postponed until further notice...

QB coach or OC for SDSU
Yeah... Was HS, but moved on...
Sipe now resides in San Diego, California, and coached high school football at Santa Fe Christian School in Solana Beach, California, where he helped the Eagles to four CIF titles and a combined record of 75-21-1. Sipe was hired on January 18, 2009 as quarterback coach for his Alma Mater, San Diego State. In 2010, the Aztecs beat United States Naval Academy in the Poinsettia Bowl.

gotta admit that a lot of that had to do with how bad Dalton was tonight. Even when he wasn't pressured. I had Weedon flashbacks. THey actually kind of look alike from certain angles, made me shiver a bit.

haden has owned green since college days.
some players just have another's #.

Just looked like another moment that overwhelmed Mr. Dalton. He looked seriously perplexed by our D.
-
Hoyer> Dalton.
Whatever we did it perplexed Dalton. 9 in the box no audible? Obvious 3 yard loss.
BTW hoyer had a nice audible run left for a TD. Hoyer owned that D in general though.

Back to the original topic, we are now in the perfect position of having an excellent, experienced QB with a very good athlete learning the game behind him. Same exact situation New England has had for years. Nothing but good can come from all of that for all involved. JFF is learning that you don't have to carry a whole team on your shoulders (look at A&M faltering now) to have a very good team and BH is learning what it means to be "the Starter". Great situation for the Browns!

Ah, the voice of reason. That's what a certain poster that got a 10+ page thread going doesn't understand. Hoyer may have been in the league for six years, but he's got less than a full seasons worth of starts. A lot of teams are wishing they were in the Browns situation quarterback wise.

"wasn't popular among fans"
Wait, those Aggie Dbags counted as fans?
Ya, I thought the same thing ... it was pretty popular with Browns fans overall.
