Its bad when Tate says it. Right?

I figured it out. You're the Hoyer Lumbergh.

  • I can only imagine Stockton having a conversation with someone.

Person: "I just found out my wife has ovarian cancer..."

Stockton: "Speaking of cancer, how about that scrub Brian hoyer"

  • @stocktonshorts said:

Hoyer has said it himself to the media directly.

Nicely done sir, feigning having an opinion on anything else when REALLY you were beating the same horse. That is still dead.

That's my main mensa man! Yes you are!

    Go get 'em tiger.

    Mensa man. Hahahaha

Only a very weak soul needs to carry a smart card. A really pathetic one actually flashes it.

  • People think you don't post much? People clearly haven't wandered over to the politics forum Chris

No, i said Zombo said that. Or maybe it was Gipper. And obviously, we were talking about

the Browns forum. Try to keep up - you aren't very good at that here, either. 😉

dammit. I go have breakfast, I come back, see this, and was going to post...

and sure enough, it's on a second page already.

And I think it was Zombo who mentioned I don't post much, at the ratbird tailgate. You guys are

too quick. I mean, I aleady had my bacon and fried spuds finished, and just

did a couple of eggs, and wham. It's too late.

She's just gonna die in a few months or a year. Why prolong the inevitable, when you can try out a new wife NOW?

Dont be stupid! just cut chase, OFF her and move on.

  • Ben Tate just got waived. Crowell is way better anyways.

  • except at holding onto the ball.

  • I heard the titanic sank, while we're at it.

  • Ben Tate waived???

    No way...

I just shot some potato out my nose reading this. Just thought you should know.

  • Wonder if this will affect other free agents views on signing with the Browns in the future...

Might be the only minus I see from this.

  • It's got to be a joint decision. Or at least, they looked at the situation and asked themselves, is he worth the negativity he causes? And at a Trent-Richardson-like 3.1 ypc, the answer would be no.

I thought it was telling that Pettine said he thought West and Crowell were more explosive just days before Tate got cut. Tate is the most expensive of the three running-backs (and has been least productive). I was initially surprised, but I think it was probably a good move. They signed him to a "show me" contract and instead of trying to show it on the field he just complained.

Possibly, but I can imagine any conversation going like "what happened with Tate, you signed him to a decent contract and then cut him?" "well, to be honest he wasn't playing as well as two rookies, including an undrafted one, went public about his dissatisfaction with the management and was earning quite a lot of money for it, so we decided the team was better without him"

The only ones that might shy away are the ones who dont think they can live up to it.

Most players, I think, understand that you get cut if you dont play well.

  • Heavy dose of West. Please give Crow some stickum, he's going to need it.

  • I loved Tate when coming in if nothing else but for his attitude which has changed. He should have been a good veteran presence in a back field of rookies but he wasn't.

I like the cut anyway, shows the guys we want what's best for all of us.

  • Thought of another minus...

The Colts will pick him up, then when he plays the Browns and he gashes the shit run defense it will be "Told ya so!"

    Ugh...

Maybe he and Trent can put on a tap dance show that day in the backfield together.

  • Maybe he was the cancer, maybe the Browns will not lose another game this year lol one can wish
