  • How about I like both QB's we are aloud to question when either one plays shitty? That work for you?

  • Why is there hate for Manziel? He's been keeping his mouth shut and learning the system. I can understand when people here are mad about Hoyer's play, but how can you diss Manziel? Lol what is he doing so poorly right now? Johnny Clipboard....really? Let's hate on our backup qb who keeps quiet and doesn't complain.

    THANK YOU.

If you question Hoyer on this board or state you like Manziel, "You're a fan boy cocksucker and go root for Johnny Clipboard while eating his load blah blah blah"

Manziel's haters are embarrassing as Stockton.

  • Pretty sure either of our qbs would die for their teammates. Hoyer was pretty close to death after Cushing's hit last week and Manziel has a pretty good track record for sacrificing himself in college. We're lucky to have two fierce competitors at the qb position when most teams don't have one.

since you've just joined the board maybe you should take a read on what has happened here since we acquired manziel.

the fans that joined just because of manziel are the people some of us have problems with (well there are a dozen or so keepers, but....). so it's not that some of us hate manziel, it's that we use anti-manziel talk in reaction to the JFFanboys who just want to hate on hoyer but yet call themselves browns' fans.

if the true fan base on here didn't have to deal with a bunch of AHoles from afar preaching everything JF i doubt there would be much talk about him whatsoever.

  • "Loves Manziel choad"

    "Johnny Fan Boy"

    "Suck Manziels cock"

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

You Manziel haters are as fucking embarrassing and childish as Stockton for hating Hoyer so much.

Hoyer will remain the starter with the team at 7-4 in a playoff race, Manziel is learning from the bench.

But good god between Stockton and people on the other side of the fence, you sound like buffoons.

Learn some reading comprehension boy. Saying person a wants to suck person b's dick is an insult to a. Not to b.

There isn't hate for manziel, just repeated frustration of telling manziel fans to stfu after complaining about wins.

    Quit drinking and embarrassing yourself

i had two beers today shithead. manziel was a wasted pick this year. if he turns out like rg3, no thanks.

And you base this opinion on exactly what he has done on the field in real games that count, right?

You'd have been better off claiming drink than stupid.

    No hate for Manziel?

Just look at some avatars around here. LBC Mike at the top of the page, what is his avatar?

I can't tell if you're being stupid or disingenuous when you say there's no Manziel hate around here.

Once again what other fan base would trash their 1st round Rookie QB before he even starts a game? Are most fan bases not excited to see their Rookie QBs?

No problem there, WW... but peddle the Consummate Pro shit somewhere else. A consummate Pro would have put himself in a position to compete for the job instead of competing with the "playbook".

JM may yet turn out to be "the consummate one", but as of now he's the "not-even-close"...

sure. when he's named starter by the coaching staff.

so really you need to take your complaints to pettine and farmer. all you're doing here is ramblin and jaw-jackin.

Well I'm glad Mike Pettine and Joe Thomas and Joel Bitonio disagree with you. No offense but you don't have a lick of credibility compared to them and what they have to say.

Everyone inside that locker room has praised how well Manziel has handled himself and what a consummate professional is.

You can say what you want about his game and if it will translate, but the dude doesn't have a shitty me first Ben Tate attitude.

I don't care if you're Jimmy Buffett or Warren Buffett, no one has a damn clue what the guy will do on the field

I think Hoyer is doing a decent job this year and agree with the coaches' decision to sit Manziel. Let's say they put Manziel out there in week 1 and he performs at the level of the other rookies (Bortles, Bridgewater, Carr ect), the media would have ripped him apart, because hating Manziel sells. Even if he performed at Hoyer's level right now, and especially today, you would never hear the end of it. They want to have him 100% ready to go when they do plan on putting him in.

"That said, Johnny has never stopped working hard in the weight room and at practice and he seems to be learning the playbook well. He’s here trying to work hard and make a name for himself. For the most part he’s a quiet guy. He keeps to himself in the locker room, and then he goes back to the hotel and wants to relax, watch TV, and talk to his friends—just like the rest of us. In my opinion, he doesn’t want all the extra attention. But he doesn’t have much of a choice." - Joel Bitonio

  • And the words "consummate professional" are where???

Or does a "Consummate Professional" simply "try to work hard"?

"Johnny Manziel the football player has been great for us," Pettine said. "He comes in the building, he prepares, he helps Brian (Hoyer) out as far as his preparation as the starter, he works hard in practice, he works hard in the weight room, he works hard in the meeting room.

Jesus Christ, you really are coming across douchey with this one. Sorry but good god we all know what he's implying.

You sound like a girl playing semantics games.

Everyone has been very high on him and I'll take our coach, Bitionio, and Thomas credibility over yours.

He's busting his ass off or do you need someone to shove the article in your face.

You're being unbelievably twatty on this one.

  • Ok, this is going to piss a lot of people off but I really don't give a damn. I stated in one of my very first posts on this forum and I will reiterate once again. "Johnny Sideshow" as I have dubbed him was nothing more than a marketing ploy to elevate the discussion around the Browns and to sell tickets and memorabilia. Guess what, it's working. He's too small, and in my opinion not very bright. He will NEVER be an elite QB for this team nor any other. I said it.... I'll own it.

    GO BROWNS !

  • The Browns did not draft Manziel as a "marketing ploy" otherwise Jacksonville would have snatched him up. The Browns don't have problems selling tickets.

He was their #1 ranked QB. End of story.

Nobody knows what he will do on the field and that can be debated all day.
