Seeing if we can deport the republicans to Mars, maybe?
Scrubbed for today, yeah. Loads of wind, then a valve issue. Trying again tomorrow morning.

We as a species.

Looks like it has been scrubbed for today. Another Obammy failure since he decimated NASA for social programs like Obammy phones and EBT cards.

If only there was a portion of our govt we were spending an obscene amount of money on. An area we completely outspend every other country in. That would help fund NASA for sure...

Welfare?
-
Student loans not paid back and welfare.

Well of course we could trade defense for NASA. Still without our current position of power on the world stage we need to find somewhere to colonize.

I pay back student loans

Education should be free anyway.
-
I spent tons on my daughter, I agree with you.
-
It already is up through grade 12. And still look at all the functional illiteracy there is. I say spend the money on more police and throw people in jail that don't study hard enough. How's that sound? Mandatory education requirements or slave labor!Education should be free anyway.
Win win.

Yep, I watched that live today - pleasantly surprised that it took off at 7:05, when they said chances were '40%' of a launch today.
-
It went up and came back down so a successful test launch

Why not colonize the moon first? just saying.
-
Nothing of value there I imagine. Why colonize a wasteland? Probably lots of valuable stuff on Mars.

Actually, I'd bet one of the first things we do to the moon is start mining it.
-
I'll bet Mars is more valuable.

In the very long term - yes. However, the moon's much closer, and therefore cheaper to traffic things back to Earth, so you can bet that the moon will be the location of the first extraterrestrial base.

Can't argue with that. If they have crafts that can land and take off again without being launched the moon would make a handy waystation.
