Why aren't we running the ball more? With this defense we should be winning more. They made Andrew Luck look like Tim Tebow for some of the game. I'm impressed! For all the injuries, they should get a pass but they're playing lights out. When the offense doesn't put up any points it must get really old.

Those overthrows are just, just...just wtf? Throwing off his back foot all day like a D3 shrublord too....the fuck Brian? And it ain't like Indy was in his face either. Just extreme laziness in a game that basically, for his career, he could not afford to fuck the duck. Of all games to have your fundamentals go poof we're out of here....wow.

I'm going to throw one out there against the defense. Ok Hoyer was bad all game long and the O was terrible and the D was great. We all agree - right. No argument. Ok, Colts 4th and 1 from the Browns' 2 yard line, with 30 seconds on the clock. Running play to the right and it's clogged up. WTF is Witner doing? He's just waiting there on the right side on the one yard line. His reaction to the play is way too slow. As he finally moves in, he misses the tackle that would have ended the game.

        That play made me sick!!!

We should've been able to run the ball all over Indy yesterday. But nothing. I don't know what the stats are but I saw hardly any gains in running plays, and obviously not much in passing. Just no-nothing.

They sold out to stop the run and hoyer couldn't make them pay for it. End of story. Don't Try to put this on the backs.

I'm just saying they failed everywhere on offense. Hoyer included.

Man I feel the same friking way. The Browns were better in literally every aspect of the game except the weiner Cundiff and Hoyer. We were up two TD's and got the ball in prime position to seal it away. This game is the same shit we've had to endure for the past 10 years I feel like. Take into consideration who lost yesterday (Chargers, Bill, Dolphins, Chiefs) and a win puts us in a great situation for a playoff push. Add in all the other things: having them stuffed on 4th down there, Gordon dropping a catchable ball, Hoyer missing two TD throws and it just makes me want to go crazy! Season defining loss there.

This is the most obvious it has been that Brian Hoyer was the #1 cause we lost the game... In past games, there were other factors, but if you watched this game it was obvious to see that if he played as a somewhat-halfway-decent game manager we would have won, but he didn't. He played terrible.

Cundiff sucked too... we lost by 1 point ultimately, and he failed to put 3 up for us, so he is #1 on my sh**list for this loss...

Yes we lost by 1, but recall that Indy went for the 2 point conversion, twice. They only did that because they had nothing to lose doing it. Had Cundiff made the FG, they would've kicked the extra points instead. Then the outcome would've been a 27-27 game into OT.

No way I'm defending Cundiff here either. It's to help you through this pisser of a loss...

Yep . Everyone knows that's how you beat the browns with hoyer at qb.

Agreed. And you know what would've happened in OT. Indy with Vinatieri would've gotten into FG range and made it. If our offense by some miracle even got into a "normal" kicker's FG range...

There's no reason not to start Johnny now. I'd rather see what he's got against NFL teams still playing for something than to watch him in preseason next year. And Hoyer better just stfu and say that's fine I'll come out and compete my ass off for the spot next year. It's completely conceivable that Hoyer starts next year, I'm fine with that. Maybe the fucker can give us a full season of good Brian next year, who knows. What I don't wanna hear is any cryin out of him. He hasn't played well, we need to see where Johnny's at and we need to see it now...not next year in TC and preseason. There's this feeling that if we give the offense to Johnny now that Hoyers done with....newsflash, in two weeks we all might be facepalming and saying wow Johnny's made some plays but just wow, that kid still has a year or two on the bench. We don't know.

You're cherry picking one play where Whitner went wide? He took a wide angle cause he thought the back was trying to bounce, and he rightfully thought that he had help coming from the inside so if the back cuts he's still stuffed. Didn't happen that way, just a good spin to the inside by Boom. And it was 4th and inches btw. Honestly at that point I knew Indy was getting in somehow so it didnt' really bother me.

I was sweating bullets when I saw we ran the ball to the right side.... I must admit I was so incredibly doubtful that we would get it, just because of the way the browns were so pumped up for that game and how that defense was playing. Good second effort by Boom, clearly a more decisive and explosive back than Richardson.

Smart trade for you guys, as long as Johnny Football pans out well.

Hoyer says the whole team didn't make plays, not just him.. He says he's over it and thinking about Cinnci ! I'd be thinking, maybe I do suck? He lost it plain and simple in my book.

They sold out to stop the run and hoyer couldn't make them pay for it. End of story. Don't Try to put this on the backs.

Yep . Everyone knows that's how you beat the browns with hoyer at qb.

... and yet we won 7 games with that knowledge out there. It's execution, not scheme.

True the backs did not lose the game. They may not have contributed at all to the loss, but how 'bout the O-line? Hard to remember more than a couple gaping holes... Crow's TD run springs to mind, but then?

We ran for over 100, 111 in total, but at only a 3.6 ypc clip so the run game was not exactly clicking.

This is the most obvious it has been that Brian Hoyer was the #1 cause we lost the game... In past games, there were other factors, but if you watched this game it was obvious to see that if he played as a somewhat-halfway-decent game manager we would have won, but he didn't. He played terrible.

Yup... #1 cause without a doubt, and by a fair margin. But that does not mean the only cause... WRs and O-line certainly pitched in... maybe even the backs as well.

Only the D earned an exemption this outing... and maybe the STeamers excepting Billy.

I give Hoyer about a 5 percent chance of being a Brown next year. He be gone.
