Glazer is annoying. He tried to weasel his way into NFL weightrooms with his MMA workout bs. Stuff that a lot of programs were already doing but he was acting like he was some guru who everyteam should retain as a consultant. Matthews did it one offseason and had a good year and ever since Glazer's been taking credit for Matthews whole career.

I don't have a strong opinion on glazer one way or another but more than Matthews has been working out with him. Hell I'm certain Martavis Bryant was working out with him over the bye week.

AKA SNATCH98 or Rorbotron. The boards glorious admins decided to get cute and change my name to "homotron" Classy group of people. (Lost a bet with Columbus king and got banned for a month)

Pettine said that the players are supposed to arrive "before" 11 am.

He said that Manziel showed up at 10:58.

      In other words, it's a non-issue.

Manziel has embraced this Johnny Football larger than life personality so you take everything that comes with this. It was a mistake to draft him and the Browns will continue to suffer for it.

I'd take Tebow three years out of the league over hoyer right now.

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

Jay Glazer's report on Manziel going to a Cavs game should be a non issue. The national media has nothing good to say about the Browns so they create controversy. If Manziel, who lives in downtown Cleveland, goes to a 7:30 Cavs game on his night off, why is this news?

And Toni Grossi reporting that Manziel showed up at the stadium at 11am is another cheap shot. What time do they report on Sunday?

            What's next

Um, because thats what the press does.....always has done.....and will continue to do.....just ask Crab bot.

Thats why it's important to know you are high profile and know how to control what gets out and not. Discretion works wonders.

Johnny is just getting the same treatment Beebs, Britney and the rest of the TMZ crew get.....he loves it, so should you.

I've been on these boards two days and I can already tell that Bacon Hound has a uncomfortably wierd dislike of Johnny.

Bacon Hound, As a new poster to this board I have to believe others probably have shared this advice before, but opinions are fine, just back the shit up. Johnny was "Johnny Football" the year he won the Heisman. It's not an act. He likes to have fun. He also is a dedicated football player who works his ass off. Give the guy a break. Let's see how he does before declaring he's a bust.

it's not a dislike other than facts. In preseason he had a shot at winning the starting job and he didn't. Hoyer has struggled for the better part of 4 games and Manziel got on the field in garbage time against the Bills. Unlike most I really don't believe Pettine is the type of coach that keeps the difference maker on the bench, the starting job is a coin toss because Hoyer has played poorly and Manziel hasn't shown them enough in practice.

Do I like the Johnny Football Money celebration, not really. I think Cleveland is a blue collar town and has supported blue collar players. If Manziel performs he can act like a huge douchebag and he'll be my douchebag but until he performs he's not getting the benefit of the doubt.

We've supported blue collar players because that's who we get. LeBron sure as hell isn't a blue collar player. People like superstars. We've never had one on the browns since pretty much ever. Enjoy the buzz while it's around because it could dissipate pretty quickly and we could move on again and then Marvin Lewis won't be calling our qb a midget because he's not actually worth mentioning. Or he could be a huge douchey superstar for years. I'm hoping for option 2. Seems like you're hoping for option 1..

This fanbase is dying for something to rub in divisional opponents faces like the gay terrible towel crap. If manziel is great the steelers fans will bitch so hard about the money sign. And it will be sweet. Don't deny it. You know this to be true.

Gordon has that "superstar" quality and he's a kucklehead who doesn't know the plays and takes plays off when he's not happy. Give me the Andrew Hawkins' of the world who will run through a brick wall to play.

yeah? and I want to fuck Scarlet Johannsen.

Walter don't know how long you've watched football, and am not being trying to that smart ass, but guys like Marvin Harrison, Barry Sanders, Steve Young, etc just did their job, smiled and lined up again.

Gordon has that "superstar" quality and he's a kucklehead who doesn't know the plays and takes plays off when he's not happy. Give me the Andrew Hawkins' of the world who will run through a brick wall to play.

I completely agree with you but I just don't see how you fit Manziel into Gordons category right now. In like 8 minutes the kid showed more heart than Gordon's shown in his whole career. The guy was a supplemental draftee and he plays like a spoiled 1st round top 5'er.

Most fans, media and the coaches all realize his drive against the Bills was against a soft defense and as soon as he gets in the endzone here comes Johnny Football. Just want him to earn the praise in the NFL and not buy too much in his own legend. You see it more in the NBA where these "kids" come in with the hype, under perform and washout because "everyone has it out for them". Russell Wilson is the polar opposite, he's got a chip on his shoulder because few believed in him and exploits that.

I'm pretty sure that when the bills saw him they were as Gung ho to take him out as anybody. Great way to make a name for yourself.

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...
