  • Johnny needs to quit fidgeting and get calmer. He's making too many rookie mistakes....

    He's not getting much help, but this is inexcusable.

  • I understand why the change in offense but I don't agree with it. I've never liked the zone read in the NFL and the pistol offense it alright. I thought JF would have fit perfectly in with what Shanahan was doing with Hoyer. Run heavy and when you throw you throw with the PA.

    Yeah, with the absence of that true pocket passer it seems play action is a great plan. Unfortunately I think until Manziel proves he can throw it teams will employ the Jax D against the Browns and take away the run. If you can't run play action isn't a fake.

    Again, Shanahan is a terrible offensive play-caller. He seems to play into defense's hands more times than not. We would have a hard time with Rodgers back there.

  • Stop blaming on the coaches. The poor passes and inability to "escape" the pass rush is all on Johnny.

    I know it breaks a lot of your heart to see him struggle.

    Yes, but at the same time, you can't use JF2s bad game to mask the defense getting destroyed, especially at the LOS.

    And Shanahan wouldn't be calling these plays with Aaron Rodgers. It is what it is, Manziel was always going to get his games the question is how many.
