I know this is a mary kay report...

Agreed.

Bob806

We can't afford to trade picks, it just hasn't worked.

Draft players.

Browns149

I don't believe anything she writes or says

DieHardBrownsFan

Giving away the farm for another rookie QB is stupid. We need help in many areas and drafting a rookie QB is a huge risk.

Mudfly

way too early for this to be real.....crabbot just talking to talk

bbedward

It isn't gonna happen.

BaconHound

I will never say never. If you look at your board and deem nothing special on it, then pull the trigger. If you'd ask me whether or not I'd trade Gilbert, Manziel and our 1st pick in 2015 for Mariotta, I would.

Mudfly

id trade Johnny and one of those picks to move up though

J0hnnybg00d

Manziel is untradeable, nobody gunna give us shit for him.

Lumbergh

MARIOTA?? Well that would match the trend wouldn't it? What is it about the Browns that they can't stop themselves from drafting the latest overrated and overhyped players? Mariota can't make NFL throws and he is an NFL dumpster fire waiting to happen, a la Lady Queen and Johnny Midge. So I guess it figures that Cleveland would want him.

Remember, every QB from Nike University has put up video game numbers since 2007, and zero of those guys are currently in the NFL.

RoyceRolls

if they're going to draft another QB I hope they just stay put and get Hundley.

Clevfan4life

yeah at this point I'd like Cleveland to take the Belichick approach and get a big guy later in the draft that they think they could possibly work with. A smart dude too, not just a dumb jock with a cannon. I haven't completely given up on Manziel...this was his first year and he got shot in there at the end of the season.

mdmusch

So many people are completely wrong about the stats that Oregon QBs put up (they weren't that phenomenal). Mariota has blown the numbers away all doing so with incredible efficiency.

Also he takes off and runs in the same fashion of Luck, Newton, and Rodgers in which he buys time and keeps his eyes down field.

Damn right Bob.

I might puke if they trade multiple picks.

Oh, come on now. Surely someone will give us a 12 pack and a canned ham for the lil' fella.

He throws to his first read, all the time. He plays in a spread. He is thin as a rail. I have no faith that he could be a good pro.

Winston however, he could be real good. His attitude sucks and will probably be his downfall. As of now i dont like the qbs in this draft, but I'd rather JW than mariotta.

WinstonLegthigh

This won't happen tho, there is no way. We have too many needs to trade a ton of picks for another qb.

... unless we can convince Jerrah that our former 1st-round, QB picks are lucky charms.

Jerrah... you had Bernie... you have Wheezy... Collect them all!

If I hear his name after "The Cleveland browns select", I'm gonna need a new TV
