13 carries for 38 yards as a Viking . . . those are TR numbers.

    Interesting...

And always appreciate when poster takes the time to resurrect an old thread in a new context. Proper English upbringing?

Bell must be out the Ravens game then?

Yeah they said Bell is doubtful to play Saturday.

I think they are going to take a very cautious approach with bell. He doesn't have any ligament damage but with the way he runs I can't imagine he will be on the field Saturday. I'm actually fine with josh Harris and DRI archer mostly because the ravens have been playing pretty bad football. Ngata is the wild card. Is his return the catalyst? Either way Tate wants to be the guy so if he signs its going to be interesting. He's not beating out bell and really I'd love to have the guy for more than a rental. He's almost like blount 2.0, unhappy about his lack of carries. Gonna be interesting. I expect bell back if the steelers win.

Proper web upbringing - forum moderating from a young age, realising there's a limited number of threads available, etc.

Ngata is a very wild card... and a very well rested one at that.

Even the sum of Harris and Archer isn't close enough to Bell for you to sit him. Tate, facing strike three, may try to bust his ass for you, but adds too little too late.

If you do sit Bell out of "caution", then I'm afraid you are just saving him for the off-season. But if as reported nothing truly is loose in his knee, I expect he'll play.

Our offensive line has been lights out, alarmingly so, so even with ngata I don't expect it to be a huge game changer. No bell is a blow tho no matter how to shake it. As far as bell is concerned the MRI came back negative, no damage of any kind.

I'll be surprised if Steelers lose vs Ravens. The only shot they have is if Bell doesn't play. Ben and Brown should be able to get it going since Ravens secondary is their weak part on D.

Meh...just because I predict this doesn't mean I have to like it.

They have been playing well. Prior to the season you said that the acquisition of Mike Munchak for OL coach could make a big difference......and I think you were absolutely right. I think he has. Plus it helped that your OL.....particularly DeCastro and Pouncey were healthy all year.

Browns OL was playing lights out....until Mack got hurt. So health was critical.

If I were one of those teams looking for an HC now, I would look seriously at interviewing either Todd Haley or Munchak....both of whom I believe were dismissed prematurely from their jobs with the Chiefs and Titans respectively.

Saw Harbaugh say he would not believe Bell was out even if announced just before game time or something to that effect.

I'm not a big fan of Haley, he's being bailed out this season because the team has a top 5 running back and a top 5 wide receiver and the offensive line is finally protecting Big Ben.

I'm glad Munchak is having so much success this year. He was fired in Tennessee because he didn't want to make changes in his coaching staff, much like Harbaugh this year with Greg Roman. Look of much better the Titans were this season...

I really don't think either are going anywhere unless they are both about making as much money as possible.
