  • Yeah I've put probably 50,000 alarm systems in from private homes to museums to fortune 500 companies. It's a fair assumption I know more about it than you.

  • I can promise you that you ignored your entry delay warning tone from your keypad. I can also feel confident that your monitoring company would not have fired someone for not calling you prior to dispatch unless it was a chronic problem. I've seen dispatchers keep their jobs after rolling fire trucks to jobs where the accounts were on test which is a waste of taxpayer resources.

  • Upset? This is stoopid.. Upset is what I feel about all the Tax prep, regulations, and Obamacare BS I'm going thru this month on top of a start up.. This is a simple diversion from that..

    I simply tried to make you understand that I knew what I was talking about here.. I tried to do it in a respectful manner.. But you simply wouldn't have it and kept digging..

    I did block you briefly when I first re registered.. Was still, and am still figuring out who's who and the lay of the land... I sent you a PM and apologized, remember? And I told you that I'd treat you with respect as long as you returned the favor.. The software notified me that you saw the PM.. Was I not clear?

    If I wasn't. Allow me to reiterate what I said, in public..

    I apologize for my part of the disagreement.. I have removed you from ignore and will treat you with the same respect I'd treat you in a face to face meeting.. All I ask is the same in return...

  • I just started off giving you a small piece of advice about typical system operations, not bring confrontational but I think you took it a way that was not intended.

    You would not be believe the amount of people who don't know the first thing about their security systems, and are nervous to get to know them. No disrespect intended.

  • When I said it's your responsibility to call them that's not trying to be a dick or anything. There are certain circumstances that they would call the police or fire service directly and not call you first. If you don't get a call you should always call them. I always tell people that. Even if you don't get confronted like you did they will end up charging you. And even I, a guy who works with this crap for a living, have had cops dispatched for false alarms.

    When I said it's your responsibility to call them that's not trying to be a dick or anything.   • I remember I came back on leave enroute to Japan in 1979. Randall Park Mall was the biggest mall in the country. My aunt took my wife to the mall to show it off.
